Any idea why I am getting average 2-4% more charge then my set points for both my CT and X? I have home charging set point at 80% and both vehicles are charging to 82-84%. Just curious.

Does it get to 82-84 before it stops, or is it stopping at 80 and then drifting up (which could be due to pack temperature change, though that is more likely in winter...) ?
While charging, check that the app and vehicle both show the 80% limit.

What I've noticed is that it will charge the charge limit, then if the temperature around the CT increases, your charge level will increase. I've seen this on both the CT and Model 3 LR AWD. You _may_ see it go the other way when the temperature drops significantly.

This makes sense considering I am in Fort Lauderdale and it’s hot as hell.

Same is happening to me (Model Y) in WPB. But it’s only been happening recently. I have it set to 80 and it will show 82.

Yes, it starting happening recently as in the last charging cycle. I have never noticed this before.

It's been that way for me for a few months now. I think they use an algorithm based off your typical usage to try and gauge what percentage you will need in order to meet your target when your wheels hit the road.

So it's probably taking phantom drain, preconditioning, etc into account.

It happens on all Teslas. Portion of it is the batteries changing temperatures as the charging stops.
