Is anyone worried that the supercharger cord will have a hard time reaching the Cybertruck charge port? On the Cybertruck the charge port is more forward on the driver left wheel hub vs the driver tail light like all other Tesla’s.

I am sure it will, however, a better question will be regarding Cybertruck and having something in tow. In particular, will Tesla add spaces for passthrough drive to charge and move along? I would not want to see a double stall on that pass through as undoubtedly it would end up blocking someone. I hope that they are already planning for this with new supercharger layouts. Especially given the recent adoption of NACS with Chevy, Ford and Rivian trucks.

Actually, there is an arc reactor underneath the bed cover. You pull it out and place it against your chest then insert your middle finger(s) into the charging port...if no explosion, charging should be done instantly.

Superchargers will be retrofit with longer cables anyways to accommodate all of the brands that will have access to them. Right now the few superchargersthat can charge other brands are having stalls blocked because of the port location and short cables. The F150 L for instance has to park in one stall but use the cable from the stall to the left.

Gee, let me think. The designer of the truck didn’t think about the company’s charger cable length. If we are going down that road there a lot of things we could be paranoid about :)

OMG! Have you emailed the Cybertruck team with your concern? What if they didn't consider how far the cord could reach when they decided where to place the charge port? ?

Really never worried about this, but I have the habit of always backing into my spot, so there's that. Any other concerns?

Cargo tray in the hitch receiver.... I watched a couple try to negotiate this at the Montrose supercharger, which has one dispenser out by itself sort of kind of pull through style. Even with that available it was like an old Charlie Chaplin film watching them try to get close enough without hitting the dispenser.

SC cables definitely need to be longer, not just for the CT but for all the coming traffic. Hopefully they got it right with the V4, but I'll reserve judgement til I've seen it for myself.

Good question. The V4 charger has a longer cable to reach other automaker’s charge ports since they’re getting access next year (2024). I feel like a lot of V2 and V3s will have to retrofitted somehow. Don’t want the charging cable dragging on the ground (one of the reasons they increased the height of the V4).
