Please be kind I’m 70 and have health problems. On 11/28/2019 I ordered a Tri motor for myself. I would then give to my son if I passed or got bedridden. The people on this forum seem quite bright, smarter than me anyway. I understand the $75000 price that Elon estimated.
What I would like to know is what trim will this be and how much more a tri or quad motor be priced. Guys, im just looking for your opinions. I find this way of releasing information terribly frustrating. Thank you.

An honest answer is no one knows anything for certain as Tesla has not released final pricing or specs.

The pricing we have to go on was the pricing released in 2019. Will they honor those prices, increase them, add a new motor variant, remove one, we don’t know any of that yet.

Best to keep waiting and watching as we should know for certain in just a few more months. If you’re happy getting opinions you’ll probably get many here but being this close to official numbers being released I just don’t see another speculation thread being helpful.

Agreed, and may be priced a whisker under $80K to gain the IRA $7500 rebate
I do think all the base prices will be under $80K even though Tesla doen't need extra demand for years. There will be plenty of factory options that could push it over that price though, things like wheels, 48V winches, racks, camping setups, etc. I think there will be two release versions though, so, if someone really wants to option it out with additional hardware, without going over the $80K IRA limit, there will be a cheaper trim that allows them to do so and still remain under the $80K threshold.

That won't stop people from complaining they can't get everything they want and remain under the limit. Ha-ha.

That’s the million dollar question. Tesla is being tight lipped about every detail and holding it for the delivery day livestream event.

I do predict that those original MSRP’s from 2019 are history. A 25% to 40% price increase would not surprise me. Tesla stuffed a lot of technology into the Cybertruck and Tesla will be charging a premium price for it. Tesla will most likely slot the Dual Motor CT between the Model Y and the Model S.

I predict Tesla will display some of the Cybertruck accessories on delivery day. They are smart to get that revenue stream flowing early and ward off the aftermarket companies.

If it's $47 to $78 that you're targeting, ithat's a good spread.
ISo then,, does the 'DUEL' come in around $59K and the TRI about $79K

At these prices, I might consider jumping from. the dual to the tri-motor, pending mileage.

My reservation is aprox 2 years out, so prices could be anything by then, but if I had to guss on initial pricing it would be
Single motor $49k
Dual Motor long range $79k
Tri-Motor (plaid) $99k-$109k

Buying accessories for your CT shouldn't affect the $80K IRA limit, correct? I thought the IRA limit is based on the vehicle alone., not stuff you can add to it? If that is the case, then I will buy the accessories later and install them myself.

The IRA price cap excludes software features (like FSD) but it includes hardware present on the car at the time of delivery.
