The problem with FSD in the factory tunnel is that the cameras are not calibrated yet. The vehicle needs to be driven a few miles for full calibration, so they would need to solve that problem first.
I suppose they could have a “FSD Factory Mode” where it will simply follow a line painted along the route ?

Nope, here in Fremont Model 3s drive themselves from factory exit to loading lot. Over a mile with traffic. The cameras are now pre-calibrated. How? I do not know, but I have seen them driverless.
