Last Friday night some teenagers decided to drive up beside me on the highway and take a few shots with some sort of plastic pellet gun.

At first, I thought it was a paintball gun but didn’t find any splatter marks.

Dash-cam caught most of the action but wish the video quality was better.

Was able to get the License Plate and tracked it back to a local dealer.

Obviously, no damage to the truck but I am sure these kids were terrorizing pedestrians and cars all night!

Catch them and incarcerate them to send a message to other teenagers. How was the car traced back to a dealership? Was one of the kids' parents working at the dealership? Put them in jail too. I have no issue with teenagers playing with pellet guns, paintball guns, etc. in the proper context. This isn't.

That was soooo stupid of those kids. In todays' world, someone could have shot them utilizing the defense of "I feared for my life" that is in the statute of many States. That is about as stupid as people can get. You don't go firing a weapon on a highway for fun thinking that you won't get shot.

Report back and let us know if they got them.

The younger generation hasn't had to learn much about consequence...It will inevitably be the cause of MANY of their demise, or sentencing.

Does this incident qualify to call for 911 to catch these stupid teenagers in red hand? You have all the evidence needed from the cameras to take legal action against them.

I hope we don’t see any real guns flashing or firing towards Cybertruck for “fun”. There are states where laws are very strict on when you can legally fire back, but you also don’t want to be a sitting duck in your Cybertruck. The glass is not bullet proof. We know that but those idiots don’t!

I called the State of Kansas dealer licensing office and they gave me the dealership’s name and address. It’s a small used lot in not so great part of town.

I filed a police report, not because I want these kids put in jail or I was scare for my life but to protect them from someone else reacting a little more extreme than me.

Although it was just a plastic or gel pellet it could still put an eye out or cause a crash if they hit someone with their window down.

I did plenty of stupid things in my life and learned the hard way. More concerned about the behavior turning into something more serious down the road.

I enjoy sharing the truck with people I meet and especially the kids who get so excited to see one in person. Just hope we don’t see more stupid actions like this from kids trying to get attention on social media.
