Dennis, Pacifica would be a good backdrop for your CT. Let me know if you'll be around. ?

Thanks for posting this. As a Lightning owner myself it was interesting to hear his point of view.

One of the best parts in the video was the steer-by-wire tight u-turn. Somehow the video showed it from a cool perspective with the outside scenery kind of spinning around as the Cybertruck made the u-turn.

Interesting note about the UV and vault plastic starting to fade. Wondering if some Cybertruck vaults will see spray in bed liners or paint used in the future. I'm a little skeptical of ceramic coating because even if it protected against UV it likely won't last that long having to be re-applied too often. Either way though the vault inside is going to get dirty and scratched up if one uses it as a real truck.

All truck beds get dirty and scratched up if it's used as a truck. But I've never met anyone who cared about scratches in the bed, but probably just because I don't hang out with pretenders who care about scratches in their truck bed. I mean, it's a truck bed, right? The steel bed of my F-150 is dented to hell and back (and it only has 50K miles) but no one cares. For those who do care about dents inside the bed, It looks to me like that will not be the case with the Cybertruck because it's made out of a dent resistant composite material.

I don't understand the worry about UV damage since the tonneau will be closed unless there is a load in bed that is too tall to close the tonneau. It would be cheap and easy to rub on some plastic protector with UV inhibitors in it once a year if that's a concern.

I did notice that the F-150 Lightning bed is very shallow in depth, crazy shallow, more shallow than my ICE F-150. And I already have trouble fitting a lot of stuff in there and still being able to close the tonneau. The Cybertruck covered bed storage is cavernous in comparison.

The dude was great. He didn't hold back and spoke his mind about his likes and dislikes.

Similar to the R1T l, owners will find themselves sitting at a typical sedan level when driving around town. Sitting up higher in a conventional pickup is a great advantage that the Cybertruck does not offer.

He did not compare the size at all? CT has smaller cabin, much smaller frunk and smaller (a little longer) bed.

Given that I am cross-shopping the Cybertruck with a Model X, this is great to hear.

It seems to just stick to the plan on getting the Cybertruck, if it is even available to purchase. I can wait until 2025 until all the bugs are sorted out.

How is the window transitioning from dark to light at 16:25? Something dark scrolls down on the rear window.
