Dude, it can completely charge the truck from flat in twelve hours. Failed?

Like... Also bigger charger is literally bigger!

-Crissa
for heavy use, it would make a huge difference. But for those who have 12 hrs at home per day, probably not a big deal.

I’m surprised just how little my needs routine are. I just might be spending more on sentry mode than driving. Definitely spend more on AC while parked than on driving during the summer…that sun shade thing does bupkis.

This is my thinking as well. I didn’t have the bank roll for an S when they came out or the interested in a model 3 at launch. we were early adopters of the Y, but by then Tesla had already proven itself and I understand no extra incentives for that vehicle. We have all made a similar leap jumping on board with the CT but that doesn’t mean I don’t understand the value proposition as I know for sure some of the usual suspects are gonna come in here to say. Preemptively, they’re not wrong.

I just firmly believe as a gesture it would be worth its weight in gold and I do think it’s plausible. It would be barely an inconvenience for them.

And heck with all the guys here saying that they don’t drive their car anywhere or supercharge ever (eew! yuck!) it’ll hardly cost anything money at all.
Hey, if anyone here has an ‘IN’ with Tesla or an email address for someone who cares enough to encourage higher ups to give us that bonus, I would not complain!

I’ve lost track of the number of people that have flagged me down to ask to look inside the truck only to say ‘Wow!!! I had no idea it was that clean and spacious’! Nine times out of 10 they are people that said they would never consider a Cybertruck but they or their relative are about to buy a new vehicle… then they ask “what do you think of the CyberTruck?” Half expecting me to say it has a bunch of problems… I don’t! I say “it’s the best vehicle I have ever owned ! perfect for work! Perfect for play! Fantastic for a family of 5!” Usually the persons’ mouths drop… ithout commercials or direct marketing, People just don’t know how awesome the vehicle is. And with all the bad press, an unfavorable political aura, It seems we are the best ambassadors. I of course give them my referral code, but repeatedly, even though they give it to Tesla and eventually buy a vehicle it somehow goes to someone else (inside crookery for another discussion)…

today it seems people form vehement opinions without knowing even the tiniest bit about something… Our trucks seem to be magnets for that.
I don’t think Tesla could buy that type of recommendation or advertising anyways …but boy would lifetime supercharging be a kind ‘Thank you’ from them to us!

If only we could tell them how to thank us for buying their awesome product and encouraging others to do the same!

Free super charging for all FS owners. We had to deal with the early issues (still).

I still don't have wheel covers!

I just got the roof and windshield Tesla-endorsed Xpel ceramic tinted. Wow, does it make a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the inside temp and heat load!!!! Even when the car is just sitting.
That’s one of those Owners Club member inside suggestions … plus no more off gas particles on the windshield… haven’t cleaned it since!
Oh! If you all do get the tint done make sure they know how to not break the clips on the headliner… the Tesla service center and the Tinter broke them resulting in irritating rattle.
Easy fish when the wheel covers or a recall is being fixed at a service visit but not fun until then.

1. 8k per year is a ton of SC.
2. They won't give everyone free SC. It's not how Tesla has ever operated. Imagine if everyone could go back and get promos at the EOY/Q after they purchased, it would kill Tesla financially. They do this to move vehicles, you and others with them have already done that.
You use the word “everyone” but I think this thread is geared more towards the early adopters. I preordered in 2019 - though, I admittedly don’t know how many people fall into that bucket or how many fall into previous ‘free supercharging” buckets.

I thought context covered that, but they aren't giving FS owners FSC just out of goodwill. They are using that to push their FS inventory to anyone willing or they will have to cut the price.

This is a bummer as I was willing to pay a premium to get the FS, and not have this included stings. Definitely would pause buying another new model Tesla anything in the future.
Am considering selling my FS/CB to get one of these withe free SC.

Why are you charging on peak rate and why are charging 39 kWh per day? How far do you commute? Maybe choose a more efficient commute vehicle?

-Crissa
I don’t. I have it set to charge at off-peak hours (starts at 10pm here). How could I have known I’d be commuting back in 2019 when I pre-ordered it? I moved and changed jobs 3 times since then. My commute is 40 miles - all highway - and takes me 45 min. Is your solution to just sell my truck and get something more efficient? ?

My broader point is that we live in a world where prices are in a constant state of flux due to the proliferation of demand-based / real-time pricing algos that pop up just about everywhere nowadays.

I do think offering early FS buyers the option to trade unredeemed $2,500 Powershare vouchers for Unlimited Supercharging would be a simple and fair approach. Double dipping on the incentive or expecting a retroactive incentive which for some is nearly a year post-purchase is more dubious.
I agree

I guess I bought my CT a month and a half to early. Damn Tesla.
