The top 3 complaints about Cybertruck Foundation Series you get 1) range is less, 2) it costs more, and 3) charging times. It’s these reasons people are holding out for regular editions or canceling all together.

Fortunately there is a simple solution, Tesla should include lifetime free supercharging with Foundation Series orders. There is precedent and it would likely convince a lot of people the premium is worth it.

Would this sway your decision?

Would be huge

also sure Tesla didn’t fail to think of this, but instead actively rejected the idea

the foundation series isn’t the CT on sale, it’s the CT at a premium for those willing to pay-to-play

Lifetime free supercharging SUCKS for all users.

Superchargers are for long-distance travel, not a convenient freebee for a few.

Sidebar-- seems much of the Chicago charging mess was a product of local charging users.

Not me. Why do you think that it will make a difference?

For many people, Lifetime Supercharging would yield, maybe $20 per year savings.

So as long as Tesla pays for it, range is no longer an issue?

What?

the hypo basically amounted to saying “if Tesla gave you more money, would you be willing to give Tesla more money”

answer is obvious

but hypo misunderstands the point of the FS offering

a) Not for the FS but it would make me move faster for the regular if I could move my FSD from my old Tesla (that I'm sure they don't want to support with real FSD) to a Cybertruck.

b) My current road tripping Tesla has 'free' supercharging. I've done a fair amount of road tripping in the past couple years. Here the equivalent the Tesla app calculated that I would have spent if I paid for it.

~$470 per year

Three issues were listed
1) range is less, 2) it costs more, and 3) charging times
My point, if you got more money, then that would fix the issues. You said yes.

2 of the three are not money related.

Tesla shouldn’t have lifetime supercharging. I see those jerks in Model S/Xs all the time. Sometimes they treat a supercharger stall as a personal private parking space. Screw them all. The last thing I want is to be looked at the way I look at them.
