Can you apply your Gateway voucher for life-time super charging??
No, the supercharging is only for in stock inventory FS trucks.

Did they update the deal? It appears the Dec 31 cutoff is gone.

Also, if I already have PowerShare installed at my house, and I get a new Cybertruck, will the new one power the house? Or is the truck tied to the house?

I think the offer currently is for any of those FS trucks they have in inventory and it’s good until they’re gone.

They have to do something to move these trucks it’s a hard sell I think for anybody to buy a foundation series truck at this point inside of the US. I don’t know why they wouldn’t just move them all up to Canada or de-badge them like Electrek claimed that they were doing.

Seems like they could just take those whole panels off and put them aside for when we inevitably have our trucks damaged.

Are you sure? I just put it for charging and changed the limit to 100%. It takes 11 hours to charge at 48A.

That looks like what I see, it says about 22mph, fluctuating a bit with voltage and systems usage. At 32A it says 14/15 mph so 0 to full would likely be around 20 hours.

I wouldn’t say it’s ridiculous since, based on what I’m seeing here, they don’t get the $2.5K voucher. However, I agree that we should have the option to void our voucher or payback the voucher amount in exchange for the lifetime supercharging. I still haven’t used my voucher funds yet and would gladly trade them for lifetime supercharging which would save me $8K per year.
Can't really agree with "should" but I'd love it if they did. ?

absolutely, you must have an issue with wiring size, power supply. the truck adjusts for those issues like you have it appears. Sad for you. You should have a licensed electrician look into that.
Say what? That's just as it should be: a steady 11kW per hour from 48A 240V will give you 123kWh in about 11 hours, 50% of that in about 5 and a half hours.

PSA: I have Free Supercharging for life on my 130k mile 17MS and having that has saved me about $2k a year in fuel/charging.

I will definitely be trading in my FS AWD CT for one with Free Charging for life when it rolls around again. Easy choice.

I don’t. I have it set to charge at off-peak hours (starts at 10pm here). How could I have known I’d be commuting back in 2019 when I pre-ordered it? I moved and changed jobs 3 times since then. My commute is 40 miles - all highway - and takes me 45 min. Is your solution to just sell my truck and get something more efficient? ?
That's your off-peak? And I thought power was expensive from PG&E!

Why would you sell your truck? My Zero uses ~100Wh per mile and can go 40 miles on the freeway at that speed. Lotsa cheaper options. Heck, at 16¢ a mile is like driving my Mazda 3 around.

Regardless of a $5K discrepancy, does it really matter when 69990 = 120000?
That was the cost you guys were saying on the forum you were willing to pay, and then you did in fact pay it, so it seems like you should be happy!

I'm not so sure at the math that creates 20*22=300, 'cause in my world 22*20 is 440.

Apparently, SoCal is the worst (I have SDGE). I moved here from Aptos and noticed how expensive it is.

The original point was that someone was saying that if the truck suddenly cost more tomorrow, we wouldn’t pay it and so we should’ve be upset that it’s now “less” for others. I just mentioned the fact that this essentially had happened when those prices changed. Not pointing blame at Tesla, but it did happen.

And you are right; I am happy with the truck. That still doesn’t take away from the fact that I think Tesla should give loyal early adopters the option to choose if they want that power share, the voucher, or the free supercharging.
