I'll call this one a slam dunk - great job with the predictions everyone!!

So much for the idea there will be “No paint”

It almost looks like 2 gigacastings in the rear one on each side. A lot different from what I expected and very much nixes the sail pillar storage.

Does not negate possibility of there being sail pillar storage if the casting is on the interior side of the sail pillar which would make sense if the sail storage opened on the exterior side of the truck.

Look at the picture, the casting has a ledge/shelf/top support for suspension shock tower that sticks out at the bottom of the sail area sloping casting. This ledge would also the support for the bottom of the sail pillar storage.

Looking at just one side of rear bed body the exterior 3mm stainless steel (with crease) and the interior sail pillar plus the bed-side casting together could form a 3d shape pyramid instead of a 2d shape triangle.

Image a pyramid that is turned on it's side so the base of the pyramid is vertical (this would be inside of bed and back side of sail pillar), the peak of the pyramid would be the exterior horizontal crease line of the exterior 3mm stainless steel, above the crease would be sail pillar storage door frame with the door being the upper exterior 3mm stainless steel, and below the crease is just 3mm stainless steel panel.

That I know of Tesla never stated that the exoskeleton would support the load, only that the exoskeleton would be strong stainless steel and replace some of the usual internal structure.
The front and rear castings and the piece joining them should be the main load-bearing part, with the exoskeleton adding extra strength to the whole.
Perhaps you are right, but many have said that about the CT exoskeleton, the name exoskeleton implies it, and Elon called it an exoskeleton.

I’m more used to seeing a vehicle with the brake tubing mounted on the firewall.

Does it look like they made the B pillar a little more vertical and the C pillar slightly taller for rear headroom (making the truck more trapezoid than triangle)?

It seems to be a perspective thing.

Kinda small to be gigacastings. But they really show an amount of strength in the wings I predicted - they're essential to the strength of the vehicle.

No motor mount points in this sub-assembly.

Seriously, it’s been 3 years and a month since I got in line. Now these pictures look like something that was thrown together in 2016.?
Step ladder, extension cords, propane tanks, caution tape and all…
For all I know that is how initial tooling is always done.

What gets me is why have such a linear/angular body if you're gonna curve the frame anyway? Just seems like more work… different to be different.
Huh? Curved frame?

I never anticipated either one of those things. Personally I think a midgate is a terrible idea for a truck used for work.
I think that's silly. A midgate means using one design for the single row and double row seating.

Huh? Curved frame?
I think they're referring to the stamped and cast pieces.

But these pieces are just there to provide stiffness to the already strong sheer exoskeleton.

Not sure why think no midgate? looks like a large hinge area at bottom of divider and difficult to see what that part is. Think one of the prototypes at Gigatexas event did have a midgate. Multiple prototypes.
You wouldn't have any parts for a moving piece like a midgate, in this assembly. See also the doors aren't there.
