$31 per roll of high quality no-kink 3M vinyl supposedly to last for 7 years.
That sounds like only a few feet worth. Have you worked out what it would be to wrap the whole truck? Genuinely curious here.

I put a winch, train horn, a fridge, tint all glass and graphene coating on every truck I personally drive. If tesla is dumb enough to put carpet in the CT, I’ll have a solution to fix that through a business I own.
If they do, I can see creating a business to remove the carpet and replace it with rubber mats. I know many here would prefer rubber flooring to carpets.

I find it annoying that cars have carpet and you buy rubber mats to cover it. It should be the reverse. Rubber floors with optional carpets to beautify it.

Thats exactly what the business does.
100% carpet replacement coupled with an insulator that also reduces road noise. Several new patents pending.

True, but if you can DIY it, definitely will be cheaper than the $4,000 they are asking for full wrap for say, Tesla S or Y (my son-in-law and daughter did it on their Teslas).

You can Google sites where they'll give you an estimate if you provide the dimensions of the area you are going to cover (tough luck that don't have it yet for Cybertruck and a decision if you are to cover all of it just a portion).

One idea I saw on an army green Toyota Tacoma. He just put blue and white squares and rectangular wraps all over his truck and it really looks like a digital urban camouflage. It's not even a full body wrap as portions of the original army green body paint is showing between those vinyl wraps. I really don't know how myself as I've not done it but I'm sure there are tons of how-to's out there in YouTube.

I'm not a peacock trying to show my plumage to attract attention, so I won't be doing anything to make it stand out even more than it already will since it will be quite rare at first.

When we got our first Model 3 in May of 2018, we were one of the first in my area and I always felt a little self-conscious about that. I was really relived when I could start blending in with the rest. The Cybertruck will be no different.

Why would anyone purposefuly want to stand out to strangers?
Why does customization have to be peacocking?

Couldn't it just be a creative way to make the vehicle your own instead of being just like the hundreds of thousands that will be on the road?

Creative self expression. Idgaf about strangers or what they think. I want to customize my vehicles for me.

I guess I'm not afraid to have people notice my giant silver triangle lol. If incognito is the plan for you with CT I have bad news for you lol

Would love to do this. A little orange striping, a propane can and a rattle can…

Not sure I’d go full nerd core though so maybe a little more subtle.

Also, I saw some really cool tool mounts that I’d want to mount inside the vault.

Ideally inside the sail pillars too.

Carpet reduces noise and acts as insulation. So it's the default.

I know there has been some speculation the Cybertruck might be available in matte black, but it's safe to assume the vast majority will all look almost identical.
Based on sales figures for the Y and 3, we could also assume there will be a lot of Cybertrucks on the road.

Because of this, I predict the customization market for the truck will be huge. People will want their vehicle to feel unique.

How will you help your Cybertruck stand out?

heres an example for another vehicle. The flooring is semi pliable and a texture not unlike bedliner

Hopefully we won’t need your services! Otherwise if nobody before me volunteers their truck to be first, I’d be a Guinea pig.

"And motorcycle clamp-downs in the back.'" x2, hoping I can find a way to mount risk racing pro's!!! we'll see, when the time comes let me know what you figure out!

Window Tint to CO Legal Limit

something for middle front seat - current gmc2500 is a 6 seater and I have never used the 6th seat since I bought the truck new in 2016 - so hopefully an option to make the space more usable, but dont have high hopes

Tesla upgrades sw or hw depending upon what's offered (performance modes, towing mirrors, top window shade, max charging station with V2G/H support if that's a thing, etc)

probably more aggressive tires if all terrains aren't an option (guessing they will be)

full set of tools, tiedowns, elec cords, traction boards, T Track or L Track stuff, etc

maybe a nice racing stripe from front to back to set it apart

That's one downside to teslas - not as much of a money pit as ice cars (exhaust, tune, suspension, etc) well maybe if I threw the unplugged performance catalog at it, but that's just stupid money and I still have to have a legit rationale (eg I dont need a 5k BBK or 6k rims or 10k aero pkg). My m3p has KW Coil Overs/lowered & stiffer - much better at speed/twisties in the mountains, and a few Tesla farkles.
