Is the BAW supposed to be in the up position at rest?
Probably, Yes.

Vertical should give less aerodynamic drag.

....
seems odd as i expected rest position at base of windshield
Looks better resting at base but reduces range.

At low speeds not much difference but at 55 - 75 mph should be measurable and 70-75 mph much higher loss than even 55mph.

i see we have a traditional tailgate now

wonder if the adjustability or ramp got nixed
Looks like the cables aren't tight yet in Maurer's video. So it will probably go beyond horizontal.

Looks like you might still be able to pop out the ramp

I might have to agree with those who suggest the frunk could open up from the bottom of the grille in F150 lightning style, based on the HD video of the seams on it. Although I can imagine that makes the lid extremely heavy and would need to be complimented with a hydraulic piston arm to prevent it from crushing people.

Sadly though, it appears like we probably lost the upper forward facing light bar.

Also looks like the top of the tailgate pulls out. I believe the ramp is still in play

With cars i own, the wiper hides behind the hood lip. They could have done that with a slight extention to hide the baw
To reduce confusion please try to use the correct designation "BAW"

Yes, doing that you could hide the BAW but you would still have a less smooth hood to windshield transition area that increases aerodynamic drag.

I really like the tires/wheels with the caps on them. Just looks right. More rugged
