Offer a 5 - or 6-seat option for voting of the Cybertruck

When we bought our current truck, an F-150 Supercab, we both thought we wanted a bench seat so we could slide all the way across the cab if we wanted. And seat 3 up front. But, as it turns out, we have had three people up front 3 times in 13 1/2 years. And I can't recall ever sliding all the way across the cab. In those 3 trips with 3 people in front, there was always room in the back seats if we had a center console.

In other words, we would not have been missing any functionality that would have mattered if we had a center console. If we had to do it again, I would strongly favor a center console over the bench seat.

Moral of the story: The buyer doesn't always know what they REALLY want.

that’s a ridiculous conclusion, fueled only by optimistic bias

you can draw zero conclusions from Franz’s comments that aren’t counterbalanced by an equally plausible interpretation to the contrary conclusion

not going to bother stating that painfully obvious contrary interpretation of Franz’s inclusion of the “6” in his comment - except to say that during the entire interview he was extremely careful, and practiced, in his word choices in order to not divulge any material information about the CT

if someone in this thread made an equally sloppy and ridiculous assertion as yours, but concluding instead a “fact” that your optimistic bias rejects, you’d dress them down to their toenails

try being remotely intellectually honest

The statement by Franz was not tied to the Cybertruck but rather trucks in general if I remember correctly. He spoke to what pick up trucks are in general. He said that it has the utility with the bed in the back and a cabin for 4, 5 or 6.
