Came here to say the same.

$77k is way out of my range. So... It looks good, it sounds like they've found lots of places to save energy from their 'watts to freedom' idiocy, so it'll manage a good towing range, and that's what they should launch. Because when there's just one truck, it'll be weiighed and measured against every ICE truck, especially those in its price range.

I'mma gonna hafta tell the dealer this is way beyond what I can pay, tho.

Ford has never been "bailed out". They have taken multi-billion-dollar loans from the US Government, but that's no more a "bailout" than my mortgage.
It is subsidized. We used to subsidize education, too, but coming in with a good loan at the right time is bailing out.

Yes, your government loan for your house was subsidized by the government. Bail outs and government intervention is not bad when it gets us what we want as a society.

I love competition, Tesla will keep price low for CT. I still want the CT, The stainless steel is sold, in my book. These are fleet trucks, the driver of these truck don't care what they look like. That is why they design to look like there ICE truck, not my style.

Explains why we've seen Cybertruck in the open so frequently as of late. Not the first time I've noticed Elon's companies do this.
Funny. I thought just the opposite. GM trying to get ahead of the impending launch of the Cybertruck.

I love how these articles can't help but reference the cybertruck in their title every time. They are the reason why Tesla doesn't need an advertising wing.

There's no getting around the fact that the Silverado is basically just their version of the lightning, an okay electric truck that they just pumped out as quickly as possible. Sad part is that everyone I talk to about their lightnings isn't terribly impressed with it and I suspect Chevy will also have this happen. Next thing you know, people will be saying that electric trucks don't make any sense because they're preferred manufacturers didn't put out good ones.
I am happy with my Lightning. Range does not bother me for my use. The ride is incredible. My only issue was I wouldn't consider taking trips in it as charging network is ridiculous. Now with Tesla's fantastic charging network soon to be available to me I see no reason people shouldn't consider it vs ICE truck, unless you tow heavy, often and far.

Going go out on a big hefty limb here and say. We will get epa on cybertruck soon. GM does things like this. Drop something huge when something around is about to get dropped. Not just GM. Other companies too. But, come on.

I’ll be very surprised if they can sell these at volume. Ford is struggling selling the Lightning at current prices and I’m not sure either are going to fly as a entry level work truck.
