Old alpha build. The driver's screen is now gone. (As is the "red button" lol)

not fake but this is years old, before any of the betas were out. think they just built one with parts laying around. i wish there was an instrument cluster but i don't think it made it to production

The new Cybertruck interior is extremely minimalistic.

The driver will have an 18” display, accelerator pedal, brake pedal and a steering wheel. Tesla designers removed practically everything including the steering wheel display screen and both stalks.

Many people have commented on how cheap the interior looks because of all the plastic Tesla designers specced.

I will pass on judgement until the production unit is displayed to the public.

This photo also reveals how the top stainless steel trim section is attached to the BIW.

Not proof but It sure makes me think it could be steer by wire. The column seems a bit simplistic. Just a guess on my part.

They removed the stalks too. Unfortunately.

I thought there was a binnacle at one point, sure couldn't find it on the web when I claimed it was one of the features I was gonna miss. Makes me feel better that it WAS out there and in my memory even if Google failed to find it for me at the time

I assume there will be buttons on the yoke for turn signals unless that is handled by the brain implant.

I'd be very surprised if steer-by-wire isn't in the Cybertruck.

Steer-by-wire was supposed to be in the refreshed Model S/X but Tesla didn't do it. That's why the yoke was a fail (in my opinion) and I switched out the yoke with a traditional steering wheel.

I've seen a very nice aftermarket cellphone based speedometer screens that mount on the steering column.
(y)THIS.

Elon says "best part is no part". Isn't it going to be nice to be able to customize our own CT's with aftermarket to suit our each individual needs and not impose those on other purchasers? It is clear there will be a massive aftermarket accessory choice for the CT. You can anti-minimalize to your hearts content.

Existing binnacle solution choices for M3/MY

I don't get why none of the aftermarket dashboards don't show engine RPM, coolant and oil temperature, gear ratio or fuel consumption and tank level. They all just show phone battery level and have pretty pictures of the outside of the car. So useless! I'm a real truck driver and I need more manly dials, with large buttons I can grab with my hairy palms! ;)

There's gotta be an app for that!
