Round or square? Buttons or stalks?

What steering wheel, turn signal, wiper and drive controls do you want to see on cybertruck?

Did Tesla make a mistake with getting rid of the round steering wheel and stalks on some of their products? We saw the backtrack on the yoke for model s/x but the stalks did not make a return yet. Now that Model 3 Refresh 'Highland' is releasing without stalks, there will be a larger audience to pass judgment.

For cybertruck, I see no benefit to a square steering wheel or yoke with no stalks. There is no drive focused display and FSD is not fully autonomous yet. These changes to driving controls are not going to drive new customers but it will turn off many traditional truck buyers.

Getting square wheel and no stalks, just gotta get used to it
Other than seeing that in a majority of the preproduction vehicles, is that what you would have chosen?

Personally I like the square vs the MS yoke, at least it has a top. I don't think a round wheel was ever an option for CT.

Tesla is moving away from stalks period. Just gonna come with purchasing a Tesla. As long as the auto shift works well I'm fine, just will take practice with the screen if it doesn't haha

I choose the CYBERSQWHEEL
My VW Up! has the squared off base and it feels neat thru turns. Just need to refresh my 'touch typing' skills for the damn 'buttons' on the face of it!

I'm very interested in what happens with the new 3. It's going to be the barometer when it comes to stalks or no stalks. If they don't sell what they expect or get hammered by regular customers, I have a feeling they make a come back. But, time will tell.

If autoshift works well, make it an option on a software update on all vehicles. See how many people turn it on then back off.

On the stalkless vehicles, how do you activate a momentary windshield wipe?

It doesn’t. It’s OK for really obvious things like reversing out of a parking spot, but it only took me 30 minutes to be in a situation where I needed a 3 point turn and of course it didn’t work.

Losing the stalks is just idiotic, especially for countries that have roundabouts. Even Tesla Bjorn is complaining.
