The latest interior photos have been the "square" one:What is the latest on the steering wheel, round, square or yoke?
Dang, that's ugly...The latest interior photos have been the "square" one:
However, I think we might have an option to customize what kind of steering wheel we want.
The updated Cybertruck Square Yoke is fine. The biggest issue with the original Yoke was the pivot point is not centered and the wheel swung like a pendulum, also it was way too wide. I am quite used to weird shape steering wheel as we use F1 style wheels on multiple occasions in simulators. but the yoke was not one that would work in a car. The cybertruck rounded square wheel looks to be a good size wheel.Dang, that's ugly...
It looks like it offers the worst elements of round and yoke designs.
If we don't have an option and that's it, I'll just have to get used to it. For me, the good elements of the CT far out-weigh the bad, so far.
This design in practice could surprise end-users. It has a number of positions to rest your hands.....that is, if you're driving at all. Also, we will know soon enough about the variable ratio steering or whatever the CT comes with. Should be fun to use, in the carpark or on the race track. That’s a cool shape and all, but…I love my aftermarket yoke steering wheel in my Model Y and if Tesla offers it for the Cybertruck as an option, I'm getting it or go aftermarket route again.
wow! I also like the little extra display you installed. any HUD device you found? that is pretty cool . can you share what aftermarket accessories can one get for the Tesla cars and where you can find them ? I think that could give us an idea about what is possible. thank youThat’s a cool shape and all, but…
Can’t you find one with some color???
It’s kind of a hybrid of a wheel and a yoke. Some were calling it a woke. What is the latest on the steering wheel, round, square or yoke?
