Their web page after the link shows an Auction at 8:30pm, but doesn't mention which particular vehicle(s) will be auctioned off, unless I missed something somewhere. So was this a 'leak' or what's the source? Pretty cool that it's being hosted by Jay Leno though.

They usually they switch year number around November. Got my 2022 M3 in November of 2021.

Ah okay, now that you mention it. I do think October is when they switch. Because I got my 21 Y at the end of Sept and then people were getting 22s

I was under the impression that only employees could have the vehicle until EPA and NHTSA testing is completed?

No, there's been a few other nonprofit drawings that have offered a 2024 Cybertruck as well. Lots of people are like us, and have reservations. That's all they have to promise.

Let's hope it's only a handful being offered to 'organisations' ....l like not-for-profit, but the queue is in 'rubber band' mode. Just sayin'.......

Generally at an auction the item is on display, maybe not for a raffle, but I thought the same thing.

I think it is in extremely poor taste to auction off a vehicle before the official delivery event.
