Honestly, agree, pretty sparse. But, I think that has always been Tesla's approach. I think 3rd parties will be the main source of accessories for it.Looks like that is the official accessory ensemble? ?
It has a spot for the spare tyre, Starlink dish, tracks etc...all on the roof and taking up the bed....boring!! Back to the drawing board with that, I bet you range takes a 10-20% dive with all that stuff mounted like that.
If it is offcial, sack the CT accessory team now please. 100% fail, don't like a single bit of it. This is not Tesla spec.
Hmmm.... Not sure I'm on board with the striped look. Almost looks like it was cut into longitudinal sections for detailed internal study.
As example with Rivian. They have a dedicated compressor for suspension and a separate for accessory. So if this is the case cybertruck would only have an isolated compressor for suspension. It's going to be tough to have variable height air suspension with no onboard air compressor.
Maybe it’s a gas tankAir tank means no onboard compressor.
It's a Co2 tank, likely for redundancy, and much quicker to air tires back up after finishing a run. They're probably taking these out into the middle of nowhere, and I don't think they'd want to abandon a truck or have to call for an offroad tow truck down in Baja. Hence, the spare in a Rough County mount, pansy-esque tire traction things, satellite (LOL), tow strap, and likely a jack in the covered bag. They clearly are minimizing risk as much as possible. I wouldn't assume too much from these photos...Air tank means no onboard compressor. Great. But looks like we get the option for a very un-aerodynamic light bar.
