No. That is a POWERTANK. I have the exact same model mounted in my Gladiator. Its far better than a compressor for airing up tires and seating tire beads.
Finally, someone got it.

And for those that think having a powertank means there is no onboard air, that’s a poor assumption. No standalone onboard compressor can match how quickly a powertank can fill tires. Most onboard compressors are light duty and take minutes just for one tire if there isn’t a tank that’s part of the system. If you try to inflate 4 35” tires you’ll likely exceed the duty cycle and it will overheat/shutoff. They’re more for emergencies and filling up air mattresses, etc.

I didn't say overkill didn't have its uses, just that it's overkill.

But it’s not overkill. Have you tried airing up a 35” tire from 18 to 40PSI? I’m going to guess you haven’t or you wouldn’t think it’s fine to use a normal tire pump. You will be there for 20 minutes or more, if your pump doesn’t burn out first.
There are two gauges on the powertank so you know how much pressure is in it and how much the regulator is set to dispense.

That spare tire mount is the Rough Country universal spare tire carrier, nothing from Tesla.

people that actually offroad understand the tremendous benefits. And the regulator means it wont burst a kayak, air mattress, tent etc and can also run air tools. Not overkill at all. I can air up 4 x 40” tires simultaneously from 7 psi to 32 in ~ 8-9 minutes and if a tire bead is a lost the advantage is even more lopsided.

the only thing im really sad about is potentially not being able to hook up train horns, which are more overkill than a powertank but also useful.

Finally??? Haha...

Overkill is exactly what you're looking for after a long day on the trail. It's not fun waiting around for 30 minutes topping off oversized tires. Best just to blast some air (Co2) in there to get on home or back to camp. Might not seem like it, but a full day on the trail can be tiring. Co2 pressure is needed for impact wrenches and also for resetting beads, as others mentioned before. Unless, of course, you're a tad reckless and comfortable setting a bead with fire ;)

It would have been cool if they had designed the light bar in a way that it could be used as forward spotlights and rear chase lights. Ah well, can't have everything...

I was never much of a Pre-Runner and was more of a rock crawler back in the day and ran hundreds of miles of trails up and down the West Coast... Miss those days and would only consider minor to moderate rock crawling/offroading in the C/T. Don't wanna crush the battery... Although I'm sure we'll see some videos in the future of people doing awesomely stupid things with these trucks...

Back in the day photos... and yes, I made it through all of these w/o help. Ran the Rubicon before the Gatekeeper/Rookie Filter was dynamited...

It will be fun to have a truck again, can't wait!!!

Pretty sure we could buy a light bar attached to the interior of the roof, with an adjustable hinge, programmable, that could use it as ambient light as well.
2,000,000 candle power ambient light.

Maybe the RC is for rough country test vehicle.
Hauling a spare tire in the bed is no proof whether there is or isn't also normal spare tire storage. We've seen pictures of Cybertruck hauling 8 tires.

Well, there you go, you did prove it! We have seen CTs hauling 8 spares, and so we can confirm that the CT does NOT have 8 normal spares stored in it. So, by logical extension, if we see 1 spare in the bed, that also confirms there is not 1 normal spare stored in it either! :p

The inclusion of a full-size spare for an offroad excursion does not preclude the possibility of a doughnut spare as standard equipment.
Possibility is not the same as probability, which I think is zero. One of those collapsible spares is better than nothing in a pinch, but are often more expensive than a full size spare.

Beyond the dimensional constraints of it not fitting as shown before, I think Tesla ditched the full size spare because most people wouldn't be able to man handle a wheel of that size by the themselves anyway.

Air tank means no onboard compressor. Great. But looks like we get the option for a very un-aerodynamic light bar.
How sure are we that that is an air tank? Could it be helium and they are going to a birthday party? Or maybe it is air and they like to scuba? Could it be for welding? I don't do any of the above so I'm only qualified to speculate wildly.
