I am stunned that it took to the 6th page of this thread before anyone commented on that image!!?
Fairly clearly marked "Tonneau" :( although i wish it was the mid gate. The powered tailgate button seems to be missing though? Guess, not powered confirmed?

Isn't that what the little dot by the tailgate would be? I assume the tonneau is highlighted so a "pullup" menu tree is shown above the "dot". Then that other "dot" would be for the tail gate. I'd assume bed lighting would be on a different light menu, but just conjecture.

Tesla does not factor in the charging curve when it estimates your time remaining
That is completely wrong, it always takes the charging curve into account and also the current conditions of the battery

Doing the math as above taking 77 kW and assuming it considers it will keep at that power for the remaining 55 minutes is also wrong

The numbers on the side bar doesn't make any sense, so not even with a huge grain of salt we should use them

i think this is clear evidence that there will be a pack over 200kwh in size.. And JB's own post on the 4680 pack shows how a 185kw pack would fit (with ~+10-20% room to spare, if you ask me). and that was single layer, nothing stopping them from adding a backpack.
First, you apparently don’t understand @JBee’s post

Second, please do share your “clear evidence” - we all need some levity

Third, Nov 30 is going to be *long* day for some

regardless, let’s differentiate between a “powered” tailgate and an “assisted” soft-open tailgate

the Cybertruck has the latter, not the former

I wasn't quite finished with that pack layout, and you would of noticed that if you read it all.

Even 165 will be tight, 250 is out of the question with current cell tech.

I don’t know about the rest of ya, but I’m starting to feel a lil claustrophobic!
I get that perspective plays into things. But I’m not impressed with the interior shots.
I’m currently in a ‘21 Silverado 1500 crew cab. Was hopping for similar roominess.

Am I wrong?

I'm hoping the "Open" "Close" buttons are for the midgate

?
There is no midgate, only zuul ...

Terrible attempt at interconnected humor that probably nobody will get ...

However, it's confirmed no midgate, take a look at the unfinished castings, there is structure where a midgate would be.

We (most likely) have the interior dimensions and they are in between a full-size and a midsize pickup. You can see how they compare in the thread discussing them.

I've already laid out the evidence: (77kw * 55m) / 0.29% = 243 KWH total

But the math is funky, and we don't know the details. 250 is the top end for sure. I think 200kw is a more reasonable pack to hope for. So call me bias, but i still have reason to hold out hope.

I think the reason they are so hush hush about the pack, is they've been iterating on it this whole time. I'd belive you if you told me that every RC off the line so far has had a different pack. I am sure they are testing where that weight/performance sweet-spot is.

[feelings engaged, facts unknown] A 250 mile truck would be an abysmal failure, no way Tesla's going to do that.

Yea, I saw those threads. I take them with a grain of salt. But they too prove my point. CT is not as roomy as I hoped.
Thanks.
