My then-girlfriend, now wife and I practiced erecting my MGB's top/tent as a team, but no amount of effort or cooperation could keep us from becoming soaked when it started to rain, or getting wetter from the water leaking through through every top-to-car "seal".

Wouldn’t that negate the whole concept of it being leakproof? Again, I don’t think Tesla wants you carrying live bodies in the back with the tonneau cover down and the tailgate closed. It’s a storage vault, not a Japanese micro hotel.
