So here we are, I stopped by Tesla of San Diego (UTC Mall) to actually take measurements of The Beast. Here it is: front to back 222" (18'6"), 77" high, 82" side to side. Not "about" that, exactly that. It seemed bigger than ever (I saw it last year at Peterson Museum), and it's yuge. So in love with this bitch!

Thanks for the measurements. I tried to step off the length with my stubby legs and came up with
20". Did the Tesla people get nervous watching you work your tape measurer? Old School works every time!

Only if you're an idiot. As a Cybercontractor for over 30 years, I've done this a time or two. But if you're not happy with the results, you're entitled to a full refund.
and from behind the line, it’s pretty goid

but the actual, regulatory, measurements are already known to within a tenth.

and yours are not ** that

it’s 223.X long

in medium it’s 70.5” tall - it may be near 77” tall in whatever height setting that truck was at in the store (sounds like on ‘very high’ if near 77” - but that’s very odd)

and your width is 2” over, as it’s 79.9” wide (which is where the CT doesn’t have the regulatory required market lights)

Thank You. Even as many had calculated the estimated length based on the 174 inch wheelbase, it's still nice to get some measuring tape confirmation.

Will someone please just use a 3D capture app on the iPhone Pro with LiDAR? I did that at the Petersen on the prototype
So, what did you get?

It seemed way tall to me, taller than at the Peterson Museum. The gal there said is was park mode height, though. Don't know how true that is, I just report what I see.

GAWD, sorry.
Rushing combined with fat fingers, some sticky keys on the keyboard and a less than AI powered spell checker. YES, The MAGNET TEST.

Truly I would rather see a magneti yeast test done.

Great effort but 82” wide doesn’t sound correct. The CT would require marker lights front/rear similar to a Ford Raptor.

No, they were cool about it. Last time, at the Peterson Museum, the security dickhead wouldn't let me run my stringline under the CT, I wanted to shoot a video of the of the underside of CT, and slowly pull my cell across the underbelly front to back, so we could all see what it looks like down there. I want to fire that douche.
20 inches sounds a little short, eh?
