Hummer engineers did NOT do the math. Much EXTRA weight, terrible handling, terrible suspension, like a tank. More weight means losing range, more expensive, way more expensive, much slower, way slower. Losing in every way.
It's what you call "military grade." Former military here.

The Hummer EV is supposed to do 0-60 in 3 seconds it should have been a better race, Personally I wouldn't buy the Hummer even if it was faster and/or less expensive than the Cybertruck anyway because to me it's just a Hummer with batteries like the F-150 is.

Imagine what and how software fine tuning could be done through AI code. Truly an under appreciated benefit for technology in general.?

One thing to note....
The Hummer guy was showing off crab walk and saying that the CT didn't have that feature. But with OTA the reality is that the CT doesn't have crab walk YET. It could be a future feature via OTA. Or possibly an upgrade you pay for at some point.
