Will FSD price at preorder be honored?

While they can change the price of the truck, it would be straight up illegal - like, criminal law - in California where they offered the incentive to refuse to issue it.

So yes, FSD pricing has to be honored.

Unless they want even more heat from regulators.

How will SBW affect FSD? Will the steering wheel turn on its own? Of not, won’t it be harder to monitor FSD closely? We’d notice the truck was unexpectedly turning or not turning later by seeing the result rather than if we felt the wheel.

Eventually FSD may be reliable enough this won’t matter. Until then I’d like a tug on the wheel telling me my truck is turning into a dangerous situation so I can quickly override.

7k FSD would help make up for the crazy 79k…. I’m also tempted by the 16k ranger extender. These nice add ons would total way beyond what I would want to spend $$

BUY the 'Loan Ranger' sometime in the Future if you feel you have to have the 50 kWh

CyberBeast and AWD are scheduled for 2024 release. Single motor is scheduled for a 2025 release.

No. It was never lower than $7K for Cybertruck reservations. My wife got her 2019 M3LR a couple months before at $6K.

My wife has a 2018 M3LR and I can remember FSD being offered at $3K at one point but was so far away from being anywhere close to reality that I couldn’t justify paying even that amount. I had no idea if or when it’d actually be available.

I’m sure it’ll turn. Computer programming with FSD, these guys have worked that out.

Congratulations on your Lightning, I'm sure you'll be happy with it! I'll be just as happy with my Beast Mode (IMHO probably happier)! Checks all my boxes, don't need the "range extender" and I knew it would be 100k based on the direct competition! Just buy what you can afford and have fun guy!!!
