As tesla seems to be charging extra for everything, I am surprised there isn't an extra towing package. I haven't seen it in any of the foundation configs

I haven't seen any of the foundation configs with a towing package. I would assume that would be an extra option or is it standard on all models?

It was on all the review models, it's probably standard. It's just an outlet and receiver the truck would have to be built for already.

So currently, while towing my Airstream I have a rearview camera monitor that displays the area behind my trailer and handheld trailer brake controller, both of which plug in to cigarette lighters. Since the Cybertruck has no cigarette lighters how would these work?
Your Cybertruck pulling an Airstream will look so cool. Be sure to post pics when you get it.

Indeed. The trailer connection needs to supply 14 volts for trailer battery charging for emergency brakes and for travel trailer power, as well as 12 volts for turn signals and brake lights and running lights. and then there are the braking signal and power for electric hitch lifts.
I would imagine that they will provide 14 volts at the rated current of the standard 7 pin trailer connector, and as the wireless smart connection to towed item is developed, a specialized higher current connector maybe with a 48 volt and maybe with a 120 volt circuit will develop.
But for now, the standard trailer connection system must be accomodated!
The low voltage power controller has a switch tank converter that steps the 48v up/down to 16v and connects to the jump connectors to the 12 volt battery. The CyberTruck still has a 12 volt battery. 12 volt (and lower) circuits will be all thru the vehicle.
