anyone who knows anything about Tesla knows that they always make "signature" or "founders" edition series on their flagship cars (i.e. Model S/X etc...), and these are higher priced bc of the limited quantity/early adoption nature of these cars.

so these foundation series CT cars should not come as a surprise.

On the other hand there's the rest of us who understand that taking this length of time to get to production will impact the delivery cost because so many things have changed.
There's also the rest of us who look to see the compatible ICE trucks and see that the CT is properly priced.

Saying it is easy. Organizing to a level to make tesla feel the press might not be. It also puts the burden on the front of the line, those who have waited the most. Im 100% for if it people could be persuaded.

People who have lots of discretionary $ don't give two shits is also problematic.

Prices will probably come down anyway so you could just wait and see

Supply and demand is a terrible force to recond with; demand will be strong for the foreseeable future particularly if they expand to other countries (except Europe).

The price will come down eventually. Let Tesla sell to people who are willing to pay a premium now. They can use the cash infusion while they ramp up production. If your idea actually worked, it would lead to cancelation of Cybertuck production. They are not like Ford who just makes EVs for show, they need to make a profit.
