Tents seem perfectly reasonable as I imagine they want to prioritize production and then they can build facilities to move into. The area is so huge that they could totally build the lines under tents and be building final facilities simultaneously.

Basically Tesla has a serious growth problem. They CAN'T keep up with the demand for their vehicles. Think about it. They have a backlog on the list that we are pretty sure, now includes ALL Tesla reservations of over 1,000,000. So yeah, the sooner they can produce more cars, CT's and Semi's the better.

In the business world I've heard that called a "high quality problem". I just appreciate that they're not gouging price due to massive demand vs supply.

They do not have a mission to change the world. Their mission is to make the most money and force customers to buy new cars every 5 years. Planned obsolescence.

Looks like TeraTexas is gonna be VERY fast construction. Speed of construction = Texas > Germany > Shanghai
