With four Cybertrucks all collecting off-road data together, I can only conclude that Tesla is taking off-road performance seriously, and they are continuing to optimize the power delivery algorithms for the two powertrains, and probably the suspension algorithms too.

This bodes well for the off-road capabilities of Cybertruck. Not that such a big truck will ever be a rock-crawling demon, but it' makes obvious that Tesla wants to empower the Cybertruck to perform impressively off-road, for a full-sized pickup.

I would look forward to watching an experienced 4wheeler take an aired-down CT over slower, more technical terrain.

I 100% thought we were on a statically mounted PTZ cam, and then it started moving lol

Thank you for the video. I will do these off-roading when I have mine.

Some other videos on this YT channel of going down this slowly BUT going up it was impressive to me. That did not look trivial.

That is impressive. Driver got past that rut 3/4's of the way up perfectly. Thought for sure he would get caught up in it and loose momentum.

Would look even more impressive in person as a video cannot replicate the true slope well.

Read some details about Tesla's off-road testing of Cybertruck from someone that works for them

the music doesn't match the mundane footage of the trucks climbing a pretty tame path lmao.

For anyone unfamiliar with offroading and wondering what is impressive about this, nothing, if you are using a vehicle specifically made to do crazy stuff off road. In that situation, this would be just a bumpy hill for anyone who has any experience.

But the Cybertruck is not an offroad vehicle, it is a vehicle that can go offroad. I would honestly question anyone for trying these things with a Cybertruck, or really any full size production truck with no modifications, other than for the specific purpose of research and testing.

Most offroad adventures with the Cybertruck will be things like "that hill is pretty steep", "this area is rocky", "that's a huge ass puddle". It is not designed to go basically up like 70+ degree angle or launch into the air off hills.

But give me a Cybertruck and put me in front of this hill when I go offroad and I will test how good the Cybertruck can do a U turn. Or I will go up the hill at an easier spot. It's great that Tesla is doing testing and some youtubers can test the limits for content if they want. I will happily watch to see the limits and then not go near those limits because I don't want to go back in line.

I will simply be happy if my Cybertruck won't repeat my whole life flashing before my eyes where I'm going downhill in a muck after a vrry heavy rain, my 4x4 engage in 4-lo, I'm not touching any pedals the wheels not going to where I wanted it to be and there in front is a 1,000-feet of emptiness.

And while hunting wild boar, two of my left tires fell into very deep rut and it took most of the day for someone to find me. A turkey hunter with better equipped truck and better eye-sight able to avoid a similar situation as mine.
