Something acidic will cut through the fingerprints. You just want something that won't leave a residue.

Thanks! What about some kind of cloth or towel to wipe fingerprints daily, or will that leave swirls or light scratches? Thx

Swirls? Use straight line motions. But you're going to have trouble scratching this truck.

Fingerprints are body oil and dirt. Wash with Dawn hand dish detergent and water in the shade. Rinse with soft water (not hard tap water). Blow off excess water with a leaf blower. Wipe dry with good quality microfiber cloths. That's what I do for SS appliances (less the leaf blower!). I'm a chemical engineer and spent a career at a cleaning products company.

The DeLorean owner's manual specifically suggests gasoline or mineral spirits to remove stubborn grease/tar/stains, but I've never seen anyone do the whole car that way, lol.
