I’m waiting for my VIN too. For me Foundation is a savings because I would have wanted all those options anyway. This isn’t my last car, if I don’t like it I’ll sell it in a year and get something else

The range on the Cybertruck is going to be very close to that of the Model 3 and Model Y. And yes, I have both of those. It will be more than your Model S. But you know what you get in relationship to what the EPA numbers are.

If you are going into those areas in which campgrounds don't have power, then you are probably going slower and you are quite aware that your range increases in those situations.

When I'm on the road, I charge to only 50-70% charging above that takes too long. And you may not realize it, but charging only from 5-50% on long trips is a lot faster than charging to higher numbers.

No I don't have a Cybertruck yet, any day now. But I have been following the numbers and the FUD since introduction. While the early numbers were folks not knowing what the heck they were doing, the latest number are coming in alignment with my expectations, even the towing numbers.
What are you expecting, normal and towing? My wife and I are adventurous and go places off the beaten path; I pull a 32-foot camper, and my Ram gets me where I want to go. When they get the mileage to 500 that they were aiming for, for so long, even close, then I will jump in. I may be wrong, but for most of the 4 years in development, they still had 500 showing as one option. Please let us know how you do on the mileage. Thanks, My res starts with 113

It’s been made clear power share with CT won’t support time shifting like a powerwall. So it’s really a backup solution.
Elon has also gone on record previously about not doing V2G in their vehicles, and yet PowerShare is now being delivered.

A very solid and thoughtful answer.

I hadn’t even thought about the dealer pushing ICE over EV because it’s simply easier for them.

Thanks for that!

Dealers live off repairs, warranty and oil changes. EV's eat hard into service and warranty profits I would think.

I get emails from my dealer all the time reminding me it is time to service my vehicle. When I call to see what is due it is oil change, brakes check, and belts.

Lol, I will usually ask how much a oil change is on an EV to see what they will say.

If you want to call it anti-competitive, that's your right. But I'm pretty sure that there are over a million people inline that call it scalping and really hate the practice.

And I would call scalping as anti-competitive because it takes product out of one marketplace and puts it in another. So the competition to a place in-line is negated.

Like tickets to sporting events and concerts. The VAST majority absolutely hate the practice and you see companies working to shut the practice down. Like for Taylor Swift's show. And there are events that require photo matching to enter a venue.

Going out and paying people (or just Internet bots) to stand in line and suck up all the product is the anti-competitive action.

My first new car was so far beyond my means that I maxed out two credit cards just to make the down payment. I calculated that for 5 years my lunches would be limited to ramen and Kool Aid.
So, You admit you are Drinking the "Kool-Aid"! Must be a Tesla Fanboy....:ROFLMAO:

Sorry. I just couldn't resist...

Being an early adopter the buyer assumes a certain risk for a perceived reward. The FS is certainly good financial marketing but Tesla knows they are selling to a long suffering audience. Until FSD is fully operable and certified it is worth $000000 and same for the PowerShare if you do not qualify. The value in the FS is almost entirely I gotta have it now!!! If you have the spare cash by all means indulge. If you do not use restraint. Thrills last a few days or weeks. Regrets last longer.
FSD is not worth $0 today. It actually has a lot of functionality and if I don't get it, my wife will kill me. She uses it all the time and enjoys the heck out of it.

It beats EVERYTHING else on the market today.

FSD is definitely a work-in-progress. It currently makes for a serviceable L2 driving assistant.

Exactly. Which is why I’m so bummed it’s not available right now for the CTs that have already been delivered.
