Just got my email to configure

I thought it was weird how they're forcing me to pay 20k for the foundation series. There's no option to get the regular awd without the "foundation" and there's nowhere on there that says I can do a trade in. And they don't say what happens if I choose not to configure it. They don't mention any window of time I have to decide.....weird

They'll give you a section to put in a trade in after you make a deposit. I got my reservation this morning too.

If you got the invite for the FS you can just ignore it and wait for the FS to run out. Your order will be kept. This is according to Tesla sales rep.

You're not being forced to; you're being given an option to order what they're building now. Or wait.

If I hadn't called my friend (seasoned tesla owner), to ask her what this email meant, I wouldn't have known to click on those words. Yes! I ordered mine. Just the basic, single motor. 2025 is the time frame. Super excited.

It doesn't say design yours at the bottom of the foundation series email. Maybe you just clicked a normal cybertruck ad email?

Maybe. I don't remember ordering the Foundation but it's possible. I was so excited to get any emails from Tesla that they could have sold me a bridge on Mars and I may not have noticed. I didn't snip the actual order screen but did snip this one. I do remember reserving the single motor with Full Self Driving. My reservation # 11399xxxx but order #12055xxxx.
