None of that really matters honestly. Of the people capable of spending this kind of money on a car, you'd be tough pressed to tell me that only 8% of them don't want any information related to their purchase posted anywhere online. This isn't like tracking a package from ups. Not even anyone here really knows anything. And I don't mean that in a derisive way, there just isn't any correlation between anything that anybody knows and when you will get your order. Not everyone has the same need to come to the group cope session while waiting for their order like those of us who are here, lol.

I don't know, do you think that half of the people that have ordered a FS are members of this forum?
That is the big signal to me that there are a lot more than 1,000 that will be sold

The Model 3 tracker on TMC back in 2018 is a good indicator. IIRC a very large % of early orders/deliveries were captured by the tracker. I don't remember the exact number - but possibly more than 50%.

Trends remain mostly on track and consistently slowing down (they've likely tapped a large amount of the members of this forum already).
I've reduced time based charts to beginning on 12/8 since that was doomsday and we are getting quite a ways off from that fateful day.

The problem is, there are ~920 orders registered in the tracker on this forum alone. So if you believe the edition size is 1000, you must also believe that 92% of people who ordered foundation series found their way here to this forum and put their information into the tracker. That seems impossible.

I cross checked the tracker for the first couple of quarters against the delivery data Tesla published. The tracker only captured a small % - so definitely I misremembered.

Compounding the problem is that many of the first deliveries were to employees that were not captured in the tracker ...
