Anyone pick up a CT in NJ as of yet?

If you wouldn't mind a bystander, interloper, or interested observer on/after delivery please do let me know. I'm about 10 minutes from the Lawrenceville/Princeton center, just up Route 1. Much appreciated for considering it!

The thought had already crossed my mind about posting my pickup and letting people meet me there and then letting them see inside after I take delivery. I’d be super happy with 5-10 people but I’d be worried 30 would show up

Very fair point. If you consider it at some point I'd be interested. I can bring my early (Oct 2021) Model S Plaid and happy to buy you a cup of coffee (secret Starbucks meet?) to prove I'm not just a gawker

Then again, Starbucks is probably the worst place to do something like this. On the other side of Route 1 is a gigantic office park that is basically deserted on weekends. Might be a better spot for a quiet meet sometime after your pickup of...your pickup.

Can you NJ guys check your Tesla Location under Registration in the app? I’m buying in NJ and it used to say Paramus which is very close to me but at some point recently it just changed to the Brooklyn, NY location and I’m curious if all you got the same update. I’m wondering if they’re having all the east NJ and NY cybertrucks being delivered by rail or something together to that location.

Central Jersey here too, originally had Lawrence/ Princeton and now it’s showing Springfield.

Additionally, looking at the recent orders it looks like the average wait time between order /delivery is roughly 30 days. - thoughts on this?

Today is day 27 for me since I placed my order and I don’t have a VIN yet so my thoughts are if that’s the average that’s only because the people with delivery are all TX and CA so far. I think I’m going to be more like 60-90 in NJ but we’ll see.

I was a little surprised when reading they will make 1k foundation series and having an email when I could purchase one. For reference I was rough 100k (place in line) based on the Google sheet going around. I imagine many passed on the offer or originally reserved the RWD.

I think people made up the 1000 thing and the new theory is they are going to offer the foundation to everyone on the list because why not try to get $20k more from everyone first and then start selling it without the extra $20k to people who said no. Both the 1000 and the everyone on the list are theories.

I think that right now the wait is increasing because they are still on Dec 8 orders. So it should have gone from about 4 weeks to 7 weeks at this point

Order placed on 1/18, keep refreshing every 3 hours knowing the outcome.. good to know other fellow NJtians are also in the same boat.
