Finally... my CT will be delivered on 7th of Feb! but my garage is too small for CT, so need to park it at driveway. this is my first Tesla, not familiar to their security feature. I learned "sentry mode" can take a video while parking, but I believe it wont stop someone to take away CT. so I am thinking to use wheel lock to avoid it. any tips and advice to someone who needs to park at drive way like me?

Tesla, the best selling car in the world, are rarely stolen. Why, because of the enhanced security and telemetry of the vehicle.

First, how are they going to start the vehicle? There aren't ignition wires.
Next, you just take your phone to the police and they can see exactly where it is.

Biggest issue that you may have is your phones keeping the truck unlocked, so at worse, they may be able to open the doors. It just depends on how close your phones are to where you park the truck.

Congrats on your first Tesla and welcome to the family. You can use Sentry to alert you of course but be mindful it uses 2-3% of juice (perhaps less with CT given the larger battery but still). A greater feature for your particular concern could be pin to drive. No one can drive the car without entering a code. And if they just tow the car out of your driveway, then track via app. There is a reason Teslas are one the least stolen vehicles.

Couple things:
- Make sure you use PIN to drive
- If you use a 3rd party like TeslaFI then take advantage of two-factor auth (link) and Notify On New Logins. Make sure the 3rd party tool also uses Tesla new API (like TeslaFI and others).

And once it's working, just install concrete walls on either side of the truck too close to get in. Then use summon mode to pull the Cybertruck forward when you want to drive!

Your Tesla will never be stolen. Possible vandalized but not stolen. I think only 2-3 have ever been stolen successfully EVER! Use Sentry to be notified.

and I assume these were stolen by Tesla testers to do “stolen test” :ROFLMAO: . It’s an important scenario to test!

why not? its the most popular car on the earth.
you can’t drive it without a keycard. You cannot “hotwire” a Tesla to steal it like cars from the 1970s. You can’t even put it in drive to drive away. And if they did hack it you could call the service number and they can disable it remotely until the cops retrieve it. You should not be worried about someone stealing the truck. You would be right to be worried about a smash and grab theft through the windows perhaps, but apparently these windows are difficult to smash. If you leave something in the bed with the cover open a thief might take that. But the whole truck? Highly unlikely.

sounds great, I was worrying about my CT running in the Shanghai soon, but sounds like I can catch them at the port, haha. Thanks for your input
