Trade in value?

Anyone had any luck with increasing the trade in value of what was quoted online? I need another grand to feel good about my trade in value.

No luck, they offered me 8k for my Jeep worth 20k. Back in 2019 when I bought my model 3 they offered me over blue book for a different jeep.

its a very different market now.

I have done a couple trade quotes though, they fluctuate, i always do carvana and tesla.I actually sold my model 3 to a local hyundai dealer last go around. keep looking around

Carvana offered me $10K more than Tesla did for my 23 Lightning. It is a tough time to sell now - we've gone from a shortage of new cars to a glut in under 2 years.

Getting under a grand from your want is a no-brainer. Will cost you .9% on auto trader and if your state gives you a sales tax rebate on the difference, that's a 7% bonus on trade value where I live. I'm off by 18-20k on my trade offer.

I have a 2021 Model S refresh and every instant offer I get, including trade from Tesla is way too low. I'm always using my VIN for value, but I swear it's considering all 2021 model S's as the same and the refresh clearly has much more value. Possible?
