Just out of curiosity, what does everyone else think?

There have been a few times I wanted one, been a few more that my gf wanted one.

I love oh sh!t bars. On my old vehicle, I even hold onto it when I'm driving sometimes. lol

First thing I said when I stepped into my new Cybertruck was, "Where are the oh sh!t bars??!?"

I love them at the back seat when I was in high school.

It's called "o" handle then. ;)

I'm glad it's not there so that I don't scrape/cut my head hitting it on the way out.

At least vertical door grab handles for off roading would be nice.

I think the overhead ones might be compromised when the side airbags are deployed and you hit yourself in the face.

I only ever use them for their intended purpose: ingress / egress assistance handle. So far in CT I have not felt like I have ever needed one.
Useful for a lot of passengers and not just drivers. Various ages appreciate them too.

I scrape my knee on the speaker grill every now and then.

Yeah. Entry level height is great. My mom got in and out with little difficulty.

Every single old person who has gotten into my Beast has asked where the OSBs are even though in Entry mode the truck is significantly lower than a typical pickup. If you're old enough to have trouble getting into vehicles, the lack of an oh-shit bar makes it way harder to get into a truck. I sometimes miss them too if I leave the truck in "High" and forget to drop it to Entry, because without them you have to slide over the left thigh bolster which in my F150 FX4 wore a hole in the leather over time even though that truck has a grab handle.

Whenever I'm a passenger I want a place to put my hands. In my Mada 3 that's just where my hand goes. I'm also a side sleeper, so it's a similar pose, I guess.

In my friend's Model Y I felt weirdly exposed like I was perched up on a shelf. In my other friend's X, and his prior 3, I rode in the bak and didn't feel the need at all.

Unfortunately, there's really no place for them, with the curtain airbags and all.

Having them would allow my MIL to more easily get in and out when we visit her at her assisted living facility and take her out for a meal. My wife would appreciate them on some accelerations.
