I think this also indicates that the Foundation series production is not going away anytime soon...
you are correct. 2024 is the year of Foundation Series.

It’s still the most honest implementation of pure capitalism. As a shareholder I’m all for milking every dime they can from the frothing masses
I already have a model Y that I paid much more for. I want my truck. It may be better for the bottom line now. But what about the people who are leaving the brand for something like Ford or rivian because of all the shenanigans. It's like trading short term profit for long term, likely greater, profit.

The worst part?

We've already waited 4 years. Getting something else now is admitting defeat. My pride won't let me, even though my brain says, "bro, it's like 9th grade all over again, she's not gonna date you, you're in the friend zone."

But man.. every time they throw out one of these shenanigans, I reevaluate my decisions. I'm sure I'm not the only one. CT would be my 3rd Tesla and likely wouldn't be my last but I'm pretty confident that if I got an R1S I'd feel the same about rivian.
Long term Ford and Rivian will be bankrupt and they’ll all come back to Daddy Musk because the pure economics of it will be irrefutable.

No, she payed in clout. Real celebrities I get. That's life. But the influencers that needed the truck to make an impact have already made the content imo.
Hey man, I am pretty sure I'll deliver a specific video no one has made that actually will be quite appreciated by the community. (I ain't done.... ?)

Why does going to the delivery event matter?
Because some may not feel too good about themselves after blowing 30K credits going to a delivery event to watch others taking delivery, and only now find out that 30K credit can land CTs on their own driveways in 45 days or less.

I guess.. they still got to go to the event though. I blew all my points on raffles before the delivery event thing cause even that was unheard of.

I mean, it's nice to dream but Ford isn't going anywhere. And rivian is basically baby Tesla with better fit and finish. They even have a more mass market announcement on March 7.

Between the shenanigans, people not liking Elon and the loss of the supercharger network trump card. Who knows what the future holds.

I just want my trucklol

It’s still the most honest implementation of pure capitalism. As a shareholder I’m all for milking every dime they can from the frothing masses. You want a deal? Go buy a model Y out of inventory for $39k out the door.
oh hey, I get it!

with my business executive hat on, I slow clap for Tesla corporate.

but with my consumer hat on, I’m left marveling at how many other consumers don’t seem to mind the hypocrisy!

but separately, lower than marveling, who I *really* don’t get are the consumers who are out there doing Tesla corporate’s bidding only to further own interests

you know, like minor infouenzas who in virtue of cheerleading every Tesla maneuver in unquestioning loyalty, devoid of critical thinking or intellectual honesty, are happy to keep doing so even MORE so long as they get to skip the line …

… no matter if just 6 months ago they were railing against the concept of others skipping the line, and characterizing people who would do so as being fundamentally flawed, morally

no surprise people are so self-serving and disingenuous in their principles, I’m not new to the real world.

but doesn’t mean I have to enjoy smelling it
