I wasn't so upset about this until I saw that they were sending emails to the line skippers. If they would give us any insight at all into anything that's happening in that way, it wouldn't be such a kick in the pants. But no, only the line jumpers get communication before vin assignment.

This upsets me and I my truck is delivered. Anyone that configured and is still waiting for a VIN should be furious at this.

It seems more likely every day that 2024 is the year of the FS.

The only people this leap frog benefits is Tesla. They get to reclaim points for line shuffling. They have every truck sold at whatever price they want to charge for at least two more years. This just talks the financial liability of points off their books. It pisses people off that actually thought there was a line to be in, and unfairly rewards some and punishes others. I have bought two Yeslas. Others have bought more! No rewards for that?

How’s it been, Dan? You having fun with it??
The attention is overwhelming, but I am good about ignoring it when I want to. ;) We have about 400 miles on it and efficiency seems where I expected it. It is a little high because my wife keeps on accelerating it on the highways with drives with her friends. It is 411 Wh/mi right now, but that will continue to decrease as the fun driving decreases. Both my wife and I commute on the highways for 90% of our mileage and we don't try to drive efficiently. Below are the numbers for our 2023 cars, yes we drive a lot unfortunately, and I expect the Cybertruck to be in the 360 to 380 Wh/mi once our acceleration testing is done. I was going to grab a screen shot from the car, but my wife took it this morning. She said she was going to the gym in town, but the car is back on the highway...

What upsets me is that you don’t need to be an YouTuber to get 30,000 credits. This guy is legit for getting someone uses your referral code. He charged 500$ for 2 referrals and only after your credits posted on your account which happened in one or two weeks. Not sure how can he do that and how it is going today as model 3 not in referral list any more. Maybe the guys who claim this Cybertruck program using this way to have 30,000 credits?

I’m so trolled. Just let us pay an extra $10k to expedite the Cyberbeast. The wait is excruciating  Since I ordered the CT in 2019, I’ve purchased 5 Teslas, a Tesla Solar Roof, 3 Powerwalls and even preordered a Roadster. I also bought a Model Y for mom and one for my wife, convinced countless amounts of friends and family to buy one, referred an Uber Driver and received no points from any of these activities :cautious: ugh

This is such a minor thing that if someone is going to cancel after 4 years, they are emotionally overinvested.
No, I sold my vehicle and have been walking in the middle of winter because the dealer said I would have the vehicle by February. They pulled credit, took a deposit and asked for final payment. It's not emotional it's affecting my real life day to day. Sure I got another vehicle a Cadillac Lyriq, but it's the principle. This horrible company literally letting people just jump the line and emails then direct that day with information... meanwhile I get zero updates, a lower credit score and lost out on 1k.

I would say it is the straw that broke the camel's back.

Sure it clears points like airlines, but at what expense? Loss of goodwill from existing or new customers. Many can overlook some things, but not everything.

Everyone has a tipping point. What do they say one is scorned? They tell ten. The happy customer tells one. How many customers did Chris^ when he went X make happy? Like really. How great is the influencer now for the brand?

I would say he made no one happy except his immediate family/groupies Paetron payers.

Anthony. I am your bastard son from a fling in Utah. You can buy me a Tesla AND keep the referral credits. I promise. Wait. How old are you?

Yup. I feel you. You’re correct about Moab. Sucks too. Place used to be awesome then tourism burned it down. Noting but loud ass side by sides these days.

Tourism is killing Southern Utah. Sad face….
Nope.... those be tourist words. I live there....

If you frequent the same "tourist" locales... you are right and it also depends on time of year.... March-May blows as does Sept-Oct. Outside of that its pretty damed clear. Ran Poison Spider in November... only 1 other vehicle over the 5 hour ride. It was wonderful. Know your times to run the trails.

That said... if you want the best stuff... you go south of Moab into the Needles area....

Beef Basin... Indian Creek... 6 shooters...Lockhart Basin...Cottonwood Creek...Bridger Jack.... Google it... you have no idea.

Already said WAYYYYYYYYYY too much... but lets just say I have run that during Jeep Safari and never saw another human being or Jeep on those trails. But I am totally cool with everyone thinking what you said :)

Wait.... the dealer said? The dealer doesn't make the vehicle. You didn't get a solid delivery date from the factory? Next time sell your old vehicle after you have your new one.
