Yes... I will gladly take that bet as I feel very sorry for you my friend. Lets talk about how we can do this. Lets get on some asphalt and lets place 2000lbs of weight in my bed. I will take that bet any day of the week... and yes I will gladly have my lockers on. ;)

I will NOT take the bet on dirt with an empty bed.

You didn't watch the video I posted... did you?
You seem a bit upset. And why do you want to put 2000lbs on your bed, if my argument (that only weight matters) is wrong? No confidence in your 1600Nm?LOL
Again: I am very sorry for you, that you dont understand physics.

This video is not a full debunk, it is just showing an unqualified guy messing up with middlescoolmath. Tesla explicitly said it was a race between a CT and a brand new 911 from the factory. No one tested, if this 911 on its factorywheels could do the 1/4 mile (or would have done the 1/4mile in that specific run) in 12.2sec on this raceway. And this 12.2sec ist the only argument of the untalented engineer in your video. BTW: It did not seem, that the porsche was catching up until the 1/8 mile-mark. Why should it catch up drastically after the 1/8 mile mark?
This you tuber has been doing this for years with all types of cars, but all of a sudden he’s “unqualified” because he messed up “middlescoolmath”

For all we know the driver intentionally lost that race, who knows. They probably shit that race seen more than once until they got what they wanted. All Marketing.

LOL... I suggest you watch his channel... I don't think he messes up middleschool math :ROFLMAO: He is pretty good with his posts on bringing reality from an engineering level... I think you are being a troll here ?

OMG. Because the Porsche has a higher top speed than a CT. CT tops at 130mph. Porche is much higher. Based on your location... don't you know these things? Oh wait... middleschoolmath... o_O

He meant engineering explained not Throttle House…..

Again, another Tesla marketing video that doesn’t matter in the overall picture.

All this was done to cover up for the less than expected range.
As I said: the engineering explained guy lacks some basic skills and - more important - basic logic. No one measured the 12.2 sec of the 911 on this track. His whole calculation is based on a wrong assumption.

Did you just serious ask why I would put 2000lbs in my bed? Wait... didn't you first state something about weight loading and lockers? Lets look at the middleschoolmath  If I have no weight on my rear wheels, what happens to all my torque? It spins out... right? You ever snow plow in winter time or try to pull something heavy without having sand bags or some weight in the bed?

I am beginning to think I am feeding a troll...

How would you know, if the guy is good? As far as I see, you dont know physics at all.

The 911 in the tesla video (911 carrera i guess) would not even reach 120mph over the 1/4 mile. So how could the 130mph top-speed of the CT affect the result?

Yea, that is my question. Just read what i wrote. I said two times, that the 60HP tractor will win, if it is heavier. If you have your lockers with you (you have a middle-diff-locker, dont you?) it doesnt matter where the weight is. And yes: you can put 2000lbs in the bed an still be loosing, if the tractor is still way heavier than your truck + load. Simple physics, that you obviously dont understand.

Its most CERTAINLY matters where your weight is in a pickup truck. This conversation has gone sideways and its clear you have no idea what you are saying. In fact I think you are just trollin! ?

I'm gonna fully side with @CTInProcess here. None of this matters. Its all Tesla marketing. Its clickbait to get folks like you in a tizzy and be the ultimate fanboi.

Bottom line... anyone who buys this CT to tow 40K lbs, or to tug of war outside of being fun... like the idiots who buys a CT and shoot it up, are fools. You want a nice EV that gets you around town and lets you haul stuff from HD, as well as keep it nice and polished... its a great to have. If you are buying it for your farm and do real truck things, then you have wayyyy too much money to burn. Anyone who is going to go all in and believe the Tesla marketing goo that its supposedly a Porche killer and will haul your farm equipment around is really smoking happy cigarettes.

Yea. Middlescoolmath. And yes: a youtuber is the epitome of marketing. Their business is 100% marketing.

Marketing for who when they review vehicles people are interested in? For himself? Yeah probably, it’s why people are paying over $100k for a CT at this point. Fame, marketing, celebrity feeling….

This is the first time I have ever read anyone try to trash EE.

No, it absolutely does not matter where the weight is in a pickuptruck, if you have allwheeldrive, locked axels, locked middlediff and you just want to win a tug of war. The reason, why you put weight in the back of your truck when plowing snow is the simple fact, that you lose the weight on your front wheels, when the snow plow pushes itself up against your truck.
And no, I am not a fanboy, I just know physics and math. You are the one, who is obviously a big fanboy of F350s with 1600Nm. Seems like you spent way to much money yourself, which now has to be justified by denigrating other products.

A youtuber is trying to produce content, that generates clicks. So did EE. Anti-tesla and anti-cybertruck content is one of the best ways to do this. Unfortunately EEs whole arguement is based on the wrong assumtion, that the 911 in the video would have done the 1/4 mile in 12.2sec. Yes: 911 carreras can go even faster than that. But not every time, especially if you dont buy the launchcontrol-addon. I even seriously doubt, that a quite unexperienced dragracedriver could do a 12.5sec time in such a car with cold tires, even if he/she tries 20 times. Launching a CT is much less of a problem and will always lead to the same result. Thats why the race was fair in my opinion.
