Any early deliveries have any experience in getting this improved actuator from the SC? I’m curious where in the VIN’s the new one started coming from factory.

Pretty big deal considering how long the vehicle is, a tighter turn radius is a big plus and with all of the things cut from the CT the rear wheel steering being such a big plus if I was one of those owners I would have them order me those parts immediately.

Although recalls and service campaigns are a normal part of owning new vehicles, I’d be curious to know how Tesla handles these for the Cybertruck in terms of speed of parts availability and the manner of handling at the service centers.

Hopefully some early owners chime in on their experience with this campaign and other service requirements (like the harness replacement).

Is it a relatively easy and timely process, or a pain point?

I wonder if the updated rear wheel steering will enable an even more tighter radius than the Hummer EV?

My Cybertruck is only VIN 985. I received the truck on 1/29. All I can say is that my turning radius is very tight. Seems to be better than my Model Y. So whether I have the newer or the older actuator, makes no difference to me.

I thought an increased turning radius for RWS will come after a software OTA update? Do we now need new hardware to make that reality?
