Wait, why do you think August? Why not sooner like June or July?
Cuz I'd like to be pleasantly surprised if it comes sooner. But also, when I ordered, the estimated delivery was mid to late 2024 which yes, technically could be as early as June or July but knowing how Tesla operates, it's more likely August or beyond.

Jumping people in line wouldn't be such a hard pill to swallow if they didn't already sell us a delivery date with our nonrefundable deposit, just to do a rugpull. If we had the option to walk away without losing money, it wouldn't be so insane. But it does nothing except profit them $1000 if we walk. It's insulting really.
well @LonelyCTfan emailed their arbitration contact and ended up getting VIN from it, but if your really willing to walk and want your 1000 emailing them might be a way to get movement in one direction or the other.
It's an option I'm considering, but I'm not the only one who knows about that. They aren't going to just assign vin numbers to everyone who tries to come up with a reasonable excuse to arbitration. They'd sooner refund everyone. Or just cancel us and keep our money, because the order agreement is their do anything they want and get away with it badge. I better fully be willing to walk if I go that route. Not gonna lie I'm pretty close.
