how do those types of claims work, do you get the diminished value back and they add on the lawyers fees or do you pay the fees from the receipts of your claim ?Sorry to hear it also. I know the feeling first hand also..My new Model 3 Performance, driving home from PPF, stopped at stop sign behind a truck. He decided to go in reverse without looking behind and backed up on my hood. Took 4 months for repairs. Sucked!
Make sure you do a Diminished Value Claim, through a reputable attorney. I was able to get back almost 8K for my loss, since I was not at fault.
This was my first thought, was it a regular accident or someone trying to get close to take a picture on the road.I’m sorry to hear about your accident. We have seen the posts here about crazy drivers manovering around to get a better view of the CT. I wonder if the attention the CT gets doesn’t add to the likelyhood of it being in an accident.
