wow that sucks, hopefully you have dashcam footage because that would be easy for them to deny it was her fault. then youll have to get your ins involved :( at least its minimal damage

Oh man, sorry to hear this Eric!
On the grand scheme of things, is just a small setback, and she will be as good as new. You can document the repair and claim process, it would be useful content too! I know it is not ideal… but maybe use this downtime to plan out more content! ?

That sucks. My early Model 3 was waiting for parts for 3 months back in 2018. It was drivable so I just used clear duct tape until parts arrived. The side of my doors' skin were ripped off and I had to climb through the window to get in and out of the car. Looks like the CT did pretty well. Does the doors still open and close fine?

Hopefully Tesla learned from the early days and just have parts laying around for this so they can get it fixed quickly.

Wow not fun!
Honestly doesn't look to bad considering.

The front door might have just misaligned the front door hinges, or bent them in a little. Thats a fairly easy alignment fix unless some frame fractured behind it.

New wheel fender should be easy tofclip on as well as a new cap (take them all off for now), the biggest thing is the wrap damage for repair time, although that should be done in a day, if it was the original SS finish then I would have told you to polish it right out!

Sorry to hear it also. I know the feeling first hand also..My new Model 3 Performance, driving home from PPF, stopped at stop sign behind a truck. He decided to go in reverse without looking behind and backed up on my hood. Took 4 months for repairs. Sucked!

Make sure you do a Diminished Value Claim, through a reputable attorney. I was able to get back almost 8K for my loss, since I was not at fault.

I know how you feel. We picked up our MY on Wednesday and on Sunday coming home from church a lady on her phone hit us from behind on the highway on the drivers rear corner. It put us into a skid. Luckily i was able to steer out of the skid and no one else hit us. Of course she took off and no one got a plate number. I had security turned on but not dash cam. Good luck with your claim. Mine wine out of pocket

how do those types of claims work, do you get the diminished value back and they add on the lawyers fees or do you pay the fees from the receipts of your claim ?

I’m sorry to hear about your accident. We have seen the posts here about crazy drivers manovering around to get a better view of the CT. I wonder if the attention the CT gets doesn’t add to the likelyhood of it being in an accident.

This was my first thought, was it a regular accident or someone trying to get close to take a picture on the road.
