Lack of communication with Tesla delivery/payment etc... frustrating

VIN was recieved at 930PM Sunday night... Today Tuesday I get a call that it's ready to pick up tomorrow YET they havene't sent anything over so my lender can pay for it etc. Im going on vacation for 9 days so my option is Scramble to get them paid TODAY, or I lose my vin and wait in line for the next vin. I figured they would send over the buyers order so i could have my credit union wire the funds, but instead i just get a call saying come get it........ I should be happy, but it's frustrating. He didn't even know I didn't have my buyers order etc and he had to put it on my app. Is it this way for everyone? Wait, wait wait, then Hurry and pay and pick up NOW! The worst part is my truck sitting for 10 days while im on vacation and i don't get to drive it! Guess this is First world problems eh

If you're using self arranged financing, it's your responsibility to download the MVPA and work with your credit union to set up financing, and then ensure that you have the check, wire transfer, etc, for delivery day. Tesla will not work with your credit union on your behalf.

AFAIK, they don't send anything over to your lender. Ask your lender how they have worked with Tesla in the past, it is not the same as a legacy dealer.
If they don't know how to work with Tesla, you picked the wrong lender. Time to get a Tesla loan approved quickly. (which is normally next day)

The order agreement should have most of what is needed for the loan, except tax and other local fees.

Even some traditional dealers don't work well with all lenders. When I bought my Lightning, it was easier to finance through the dealer and then have my credit union repay the loan a few days later.

Call your lender and make sure their offer is still good as a refi for a new auto loan made within the last month. If so, get Tesla financing and pick up your CT, enjoy vacation, refi when you get home.

If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re saying you received the VIN but not the purchase agreement that you would need to take to your credit union for funding? When you brought this up to them, they uploaded the documents but had also told you to pick it up? Yeah that’s some gawd awful communication. Takes the enjoyment out of it and replaces it with frustration. Your credit union should be able to turn it around pretty quickly if you go down there and work with them through the process. Good luck getting it worked out before your vacation. Congratulations on your new truck. ?
