Elon saying we are ramping up is significant. Deliveries should start to gain pace rapidly and nonFS orders should be just around the corner, albeit likely only for 2025 delivery.
Not to be negative here, but since Tesla already assumed a certain ramp speed when they sent out invites to order, and we don't know what that assumed ramp speed was, it's pretty hard to conclude that the ramp is not still behind what Tesla assumed when they sent out invites.

Impatient AND bitter. Great combo. Now all we need is ANGER. Impatient, bitter and angry. Just so that you know, I live in California, have stock that is underwater, am NOT rich (and certainly not from my TSLA stock), and have not even ordered yet (but hopeful that I will get an invitation to order in the next few weeks). You are welcome to the chip on your shoulder but it is misplaced against me.
Maybe if you knew I am terminal and may not see the end of this year, you might feel different? 4 years has been a long wait and now, 4 months might be a stretch.
Sorry, but we were allowed expectations when numbers were assigned and dates given and non- refundable money changed hands. I was given Jan-March and zero updates. March is not happening. Yes, I am beyond disappointed.

I think everyone is individually allowed to feel however they feel... If it's irrational, wtf cares? I just don't understand why people will get so upset about people "whining and complaining", while complaining...that they're "whining", just ignore the people that bug you, not sure how anyone thinks a snarky comment is somehow better decorum than someone "whining".

Also waiting on a VIN... most days I am super patient, other days it's like "ok, give me something", which is pretty natural for something you're excited for and waited on, for years.
We don't know what's going on in other people's lives, just let em live...The animosity people bring bc of what someone else says about the topic at hand is way more annoying than someone who is impatient imo.
I went on a mountain bike ride with an acquaintance once. He thought it was going to be a sunny day and was really stoked on the drive into the beautiful mountains. But when it turned out cloudy, he got bummed out. I tried to get him to be positive, saying how the clouds would keep us cool as we climbed and maybe the sun would break through at the top. But every 5 minutes he kept complaining that it wasn't sunny. I mentioned that there was no point in getting bummed out based on things beyond our control, but he just kept whining and complaining. I mentioned at least the clouds were above us, and we still had good views, but he kept complaining. I tried to shut his complaints out of my mind, unsuccessfully. I could feel how bad the vibes were. I tried to remain positive, but it was no fun going on this adventure with someone so bummed out about such a minor thing. Every mile we rode, I had to listen to him whine about how the sun wasn't out like he expected.

In a similar fashion, I see the incessant whining and complaints here, about things beyond our control, to be tiring. Only a millennial would support a person in their ability to incessantly whine about things beyond their control, simply because they "feel" that way. I was taught to buck up and deal with things I couldn't change, there is no point in whining about things beyond your control and especially not incessantly. It brings the whole forum down and adds nothing of value.

Wow I am very sorry to hear that. If you don't get the truck soon maybe rent a day on Turo. But truthfully it's just a car. I've had it for a week and it gets me from point A to point B. Spending time on a message board upset about a car is not what I would imagine I would care about with that type of prognosis. I would drive a used POS for the rest of my life for one extra hug from any of my kids or a single moment of heartfelt connection with another person.

If for any reason you find yourself in Miami, I'll gladly let you use my CT for the day gratis. Just DM me.

Being offended by someone's whining is a choice, just like someones whining is their choice... But, it's also a choice to go out of your way to bitch about someone's whining, thinking you're actually doing ANYTHING to stop their whining... I see them being pretty close to the same thing, both are whining. The non millennial person would be the person that scrolls by saying... "who the f cares? moving on..."

I just think it's funny that people actually think that their dick responses to someone (whose comment they didn't like) is any different than the person they are talking about. It's comical.

Holy shit... reading that back, it sounds like something Kamala would say.. for that, I apologize lololol

Sorry to hear...hope you get your soon.
For me, I knew what I was getting into. I knew it was going to be a roller coaster especially since Ive owned 4 Teslas and am used to the waiting game. The issue I have is the lack of consistency or any structure on how they are delivering the CTs.

You are very kind. Thank you. This is just about as close to Social Media as I get. Never on Facebook, on X just to keep up with Space X, and that is it other than LinkedIn which is the current mode for business background checks for vendors. Now I remember why. If the experience was with you ... great ... most of the others ... not so much. You are the BEST!

Good news!

Common sense tells me, more production should equal less wait time ?LFG!!!

No rain expected in Texas.... just think about all that extra detailing upon arrival at Tesla showrooms before delivery. More SEMI coming soon to help clear the decks!

At first i thought it was just rain or something but the ground is dry
If the trim is truly missing and not just poor resolution on the image, I imagine that has something to do with many people reporting that the switches/buttons for the tonneau were failing. Definitely holding up deliveries (and potentially slowing down production if they don't have space to store all of the 99% trucks).

It is so weird to see a picture with identical vehicles, all the same color. Kinda spooky, like they are coming to get us.
Come and get me, please ? ?

Did you configure or just place a reservation? You can place as many reservations as you want but you generally won't be invited to configure a 2nd vehicle. My 2nd RN was placed within minutes of when the order page went live and I have not yet been invited to configure that RN yet. Please let us know if you get (got?) the invitation to configure your 2nd CT.
