Vins are never produced fully sequentially and I remember a forum post when we had access to nhtsa vins there was a very good explanation for this.i wish there were more trucks but it is evident that by April 4 Tesla had only produced 3878 trucks.ie 100 per cent recall see nhtsa notice.
The idea they have produced a further 5000 in less than 10 working days is pretty far fetched.
Maximum stocked at plant was 900 I think and to move the other 4000 to Hutton rail yard would have need to have hundreds lined up in car loading bays not spread out on mud and behind end of line building
At 6 per carrier that would be 833 carriers or 80 plus per day.i do not think we have ever seen on any flyover more than 12 per flyover.
My VIN for a beast is well over 8,000. Just assigned to me last week. Not delivered yet. So my guess is they are on 9,000 total CT built.

There is probably only 4000 delivered with possibly 4000 in cyber jail waiting for delivery. Now that the fix is here now the bottleneck is the delivery process. They foolishly did not prep the vehicles when they came into the showroom lots, they just parked them. Now that the fix is here they have to get through a massive backlog of trucks to prepare and deliver. I tech I just talked to said it takes 4 to 5 hours to prep a Cybertruck. So only about 4 or 5 deliveries per day at the most. If there would have been some competant management they would have prepped the trucks on delivery so once the 5 minute rivet job was done there could have been a massive delivery days.

The guys who were fixing those trucks had some master key
That's creepy. Not liking that bit of info.
When I offered my cardkey to the Tesla Service Manager, he laughed. When you drop off your vehicle for service, it enters a special mode that gives them the required access, while also limiting yours. For instance, you cannot watch the remote live-view, or close the frunk onto an unsuspecting head; they can control the vehicle but can't peek at your contacts or watch your Netflix.

Once you pick up your vehicle, it goes back to normal.

Anyone who believes this probably believes that there will only be 1,000 Foundation Series produced

I wonder if the vins produced after they figured out they had a pedal problem were given new pedals before they went out the door. I have a 8,000 vin assigned last week but not delivered yet. Called Tesla, they said so far there is no delivery exception on my truck. It’s supposedly en route.
