Did Tesla ask for shareholder documentation that you are eligible for the program? When? How?

1. The Cybertruck reservation must be in the participant’s name and have been made prior to March 1st, 2024;
2. The participant has not yet taken delivery of a Cybertruck;
3. Each participant must provide brokerage statements showing that you owned TSLA shares on Feb. 28, 2021 and owned at least 500 TSLA shares on Feb. 29, 2024;
4. The brokerage statements for Feb. 29, 2024 must show that you owned at least 50% of the TSLA shares that you owned on Feb. 28, 2021; and
5. Brokerage statements proving shareholdings must clearly show first/last name, statement date, and Tesla shares. All other information may be redacted.

Hmmm ... I submitted the holdings in one account. I wonder what TSLA records show - I've cycled the stock (mainly getting caught in sold calls/puts) over the last 5 years - even though I've been a TSLA investor since 2011.

But I actually want to delay taking CT by a couple of months ....

(BTW, TSLA investor department should have all TSLA holding records, but I guess they can't use that information for this purpose).

When I registered, it didn’t ask me anything just said my registration was submitted. I’m guessing that if you’ve registered your email address with SAY then they just look it up that way and don’t ask you any questions. In my situation I had not linked say to the accounts that hold my Tesla stock. Which I did immediately afterwards hopefully they won’t be verifying until the deadline. Otherwise I do have redacted copies of the statements I need to upload them, if they request.

Agreed. Once this process is over, I plan to disconnect them from my accounts.
It’s actually utilizing the same “PLAID” mechanism that Tesla uses for vehicle payments in the app.
I found it to be a real pain in the neck and cumbersome so only used it once and now I only pay with a cashiers check.
Although, I’m assuming it’s pretty secure.

im in the camp where i don’t even have foundation series on order cuz my reservation is relatively rate but before March 24

Tonight‘s the night so it should be interesting to see what happens tomorrow
I also got the same response that I was signed up with no request for any additional information as well. Although I had the redacted pages from statements ready to upload, it never asked for them.
I suspect it’s because I had a login registered at SAY, however I never connected any of my accounts on the site. so I connected them minutes after I signed up with Tesla for early delivery.
Hoping that the verification wouldn’t actually happen, until tomorrow, rather than instantaneously when I signed up with nothing connected,
Or at least they will give me an opportunity to provide them with the data they need with uploads…

Maybe something is happening lol ? I signed up for this and my reservation was b4 March 1 but I hadn’t been invited for foundation series yet.

Tesla website now says "The sign up period for the Early Cybertruck Delivery for Long-Term TSLA Shareholders has ended".

No indication that I previously signed up.

Looks like this was a lever pulled to assess demand for foundation series and probably won’t be prioritized as much as the accelerated delivery referral credits.

I don't see that as a sure thing, only one possibility. That they say the event has ended is just in line with what they said earlier; that people can sign up through yesterday, and now they cannot. From here on the next steps will be by email like they said up through yesterday.

and under the Shareholder Preferences which is directly under your address and phone number information. Click on that link and you should see that your signed up.

I have not received any email on next steps. I own my Tesla shares with two different brokerage accounts. Only one of those brokerage account met the requirements of > 500 shares during the time frame required. I don’t know which brokerage account I upload to verify my stock ownership. My brokerage accounts are with Vanguard and Fidelity. I kind of recall one brokerage account was not accepted by SAY - I think Fidelity.

one poster indicated he received an email to sign up for the FS truck. He said he owned thousands of shares of Tesla I am wondering if the brokerage account I had previously up loaded around 2020 (prior to this FS truck event) did not have the required > 500 Tesla shares?

I will try to email Tesla Shareholders services to inquire about how they are handling the “next steps” referred to in this sign up verification
