Delorean owner here. I promise you there will be no patina on your CT. It will look almost the same after several decades, and probably long after youre dead. What you've shown is Corten I think, with about 2 years of weathering. It's an architectural steel designed to oxidize with a pleasing patina, which then passivates it to stop rot. Very different than the 304 the CT is made out of. Sorry man. For what it's worth I agree with you that the patina would be cool.
Then I’d like a wrap like that (the OPs photos). Maybe not initially but I would do this of wrap before I’d do
Don't know if its just me but the reports of a bit of rust on the stainless steel don't really bother me, I actually think that the steel could end up looking extremely cool with a bit of weathering.

Look at some of these images of older stainless steel I would love this kind of aesthetic on the cybertruck. I'm debating not having any wrap at all because I think I might want this kind of look, gives the car more character. And if at any point you get bored of it, you can buff it away. The real question is how will the steel look as it ages, how much variance will there be depending on the environment and will it be the kind people like. I wish there was some way to figure this out without having to wait a few years.

I'd actually consider getting a wrap like this! As others have noted the CT won't ever naturally have this patina and I think it looks bad ass...

I saw a wrapped landrover the other day - the model was about five years old - wrap looked horrible, cumulative damage and scuffs.
after three weeks I’m loving the natural SS finish - no rust evident.

I know you mean well, but not only does the metal actually age (and you could see if you compared a clean piece to close up) it was polished and has been since.

It was polished to its original finish as the creeper-cranes used to build it descended. It hasn't had a full cleaning and polishing since then and likely never will. It has had graffiti, tourist scratches and other gunk polished off at ground level where people can reach and stuff can splatter, but aside from natural cleaning from weather, that's it. No doubt there is surface haze from air pollution that clings, but the gleaming picture I posted is exactly how it looks today, well over half a century later, and pretty much how it will look centuries from now.

Right, but if you did a close-up of the patina you'd see clouds and sworls.

Right, that is the natural look of stainless steel, as it forms a very thin chromium oxide protective layer that allows the shine of the metal to show through. That is the proper look for stainless steel. People buying for something else are misguided and I suppose they are entitled to polish it, seal it wrap it paint it or otherwise gild the lily.

Personally, I think that is foolish. It is stainless for optimum strength and durability, anything you cover it with will be less durable and cleanable. I like the look of my aged kitchen sink and stove which are older than the Arch. They look clean, well-used and functional.

I’ve been covering my truck to protect it from bird poop, as some present on delivery can’t be simply washed off. But after the cover being torn by the truck’s sharp corners and blown off by the wind, I’m about to give that up.

I’m wondering how well the truck is going to hold up to the sun and heat in the south. The rubber seal on the edges of the bed cover are already wrinkled and wavey in spots. Other rubber parts exposed to the sun, don’t appear particularly durable to me. Time will tell, but I’ve seen similar appearing material turn to goo from the sun. There is a fair amount of plastic. I don’t know what type, but the sun can bleach and crack some plastics. And, of course the giant dashboard gets plenty of heat and rays. Plastic parts on a Nissan Pathfinder I once owned literally melted. The sun shining in the driver’s side window caused the steering wheel covering to decompose. I don’t know if Tesla is making these any more durable. Likely, it’s the same “planned obsolescence” other manufacturers use to drive future sales.

I at this point don’t really expect the truck to be the ultra durable, ready for any planet the hype set it out to be.

I personally don't understand wrapping the stainless steel on the CT but to each their own.

I love the look of the SS and have zero plans for a wrap, PPF, etc. after my non-FS truck arrives.

I do, since these wraps give a more unique look and fun feel. Being stainless underneath means never having to worry about the wrap bubbling up or there being damage when it's removed.

But I agree, I want the stainless. I do plan to put some stickers on it, tho...

and not have to worry about the paint coming off when you pull off the stickers. ;)
