No sure where this should go, so I put it here….
My neighbor asked me to bring my CT to a car show in a couple of weeks. Now my wife is coming up with ideas of what we should do to make it fun… what do you all think? I have a Tesla flame thrower, and my other friend also has one… I could modify them off a large propane tank and fire them out the back… my wife think I should put a one man band in the back… but that sounds less fun…. Would love everyone’s ideas!!

Yeah. I got ran at by the manger of Lowe's asking me to come the the every other Wednesday car show. On the way out the door. Card in hand with flyer's.. it did say all makes and models.

I will do one. Just show up. The truck does it all. No one gives an ass about you. It's the truck.

If you going to do that crazy shit^. Call the FD first. So they can be ready.

Edit add:

We just did something normal at the Clarkston Michigan Meetup today. Like get a whole truckload of people and take them for a drive. Let strangers drive the truck. Have fun. Get everybody's opinion and let them drive it more.

Hey everybody, does their own car show I guess. I'm going to do another one tomorrow and let strangers take it for a drive outside. A hot rod show that is every Sunday.

I saw Jerry Rig Everything put an oven in the back of the CT. Plugged it in and made chocolate chip cookies. THAT would be awesome at your show. Sell HOT cookies made from the power of your truck.

CTs are rare enough for car shows for now, but once they're everywhere will be ubiquitous. you'd care about some special mod more in the future. But for now it's probably cool enough on it's own.

It's funny, but I'm pretty sure car show types are embarrassed a bit when CTs show up. Some how it's presence make other sports cars look like hot wheels toys sitting next to a Lego car. Especially if it's a big bright candy color wrapped CT.

I think what will probably be the edge with cybertrucks for a very long time is gamifying them. Easily can cosplay as some of the cars in Cyberpunk 2077. A friend of mine is obsessed with the fact that it looks like Porygon from Pokemon. If there's any young kids there, I severely doubt they'll care about anything else ?

Take out front liner. Let them Google eye that. Then I think a pop corn maker would be nice in bed.

Getting permission for flame effects is a pain, but sometimes worth it. Depends on how well your local first responders take an apology.

And yes, this is from experience watching an acquaintance getting the cops and firefighters called on them for using a flame effect in a back yard about twenty feet from anything and surrounded by eight foot fences.

Absolutely nothing you need to do. To the contrary, anything else that you will do will be ignored.

Putting a sign on the window indicating what it is, is about all you need to do. And all it needs to say is Tesla Cybertruck.

You do need to make the decision of you want to put up stantions around it to keep people away. It's not uncommon to see at a show. Also, you will need to get it real clean before you get there and keep some microfiber cloths available for wiping things down.

You need to decide if you are going to let people in it.

And let me add, that 6 years ago, my Model 3 was new, and everyone gawked at it. Then I had a Model Y that was gawked at as well. People want to talk about it, they want to sit in it. And you must have a good response for range. For which a great answer is to just plug a destination into the nav system and let the car route you.
Also be ready with PlugShare to show people just how many chargers there are that they have no idea existed.

I can’t get the video to upload, but I bought a fog machine with lights. Filled the bed with smoke and turned the light to red. Then when tonneau was rolled back, fog poured out and I popped out with a dragon mask and claws! Kids loved it.
