Delivery team told me that there was no part replacement necessary. All trucks had to go through a visual inspection before being cleared for pick up.

Yep. It's still early in the quarter, so a big nothingburger.

Looking at the design of the accelerator pedal on my Cybertruck, I'm guessing it's probably as simple as making sure the pedal cover was fully inserted. The delivery hold is probably only for the duration of time that Tesla needs to study the issue and conclude the best course of action.

My CT arrived yesterday so I stopped by my local service center to check it out. I talked to 2 people in service and the manager in sales. They truly didn’t know there was a delivery halt. They looked at my order and said that it just needs to be inspected and cleaned.

I popped mine off without trouble. Only held on there by two plastic clips. For now, I’ll just drive without the cover.

Very sad, spend $99k for a vehicle that is to last the apocalypse million miles 20-50 years.
